God rid this earth of all the out of control sinful people by way of the Flood, and started over with Noah and his family and re popluated the earth.
Then sodom and gamorah History repeated it's self and the people were consumed in corruption, and sin, and God wiped them aout again, and it today is known as the dead sea.
Last chance we have is about to be up, for our world today is in the same corrupt state as it was during those past two times when God got mad and wiped out all that sin and corruption. But this third time, God will take Jesus Chruch home first into heaven and then destroy the earth and all of its corruption as well as satan and all of his evil dooers.
Take a look at these signs...
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: (This is already happening today.)
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come . (We now are living in perilous times.)
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,(This is also happening today)
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (Also happening today.)
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;( All around us today.)
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (Also happening today)
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,( Homosexuals, men and women alike, also happening today)
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.(Different version of what the word of God is and means, also happening today)
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.( all over the world today)
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (happening today)
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.( this world is out of control, which is happing everyday)
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. ( also happening today. Earthquakes in divers places... that is what the tsunami. An underwater earthquake. Nation agains nation.... We are at war with other countries)
We are living in the end times. Jesus is coming in our lifetime. Accept Jesus today if you are lost and living without Him.

That's a good question. The earth is millions of years old, so relatively speaking, we are in the end times. As far as being in the end times at this moment, I would say that we are at the cusp. The world is becoming more dangerous every day, Christianity are coming under fire more frequently (especially at Christmas time), there is much suffering in the world. Also things that were once considered wrong and morally reprehensible are now becoming accepted. I am not sure that Jesus is coming back tomorrow, but I don't allow myself to think too far into the future.

Between 5% and 15% of Christians always believe "we are in the endtimes", you just happen to be one of the ones that's alive at the moment. You might read the book "1000AD", which is a historical study of how convinced everybody was the world was going to end as we approached the end of the First Millenium. It's an entertaining read in that so much of what happened was repeated 1000 years later as we approached "Y2K".
You might also pick a future date at random, and do some bible-searches on it (or metaphorical versions of it), you'll find that there are biblical prophecies to support the end coming whenever you would like it to!

I don't think so. I kow there is a lot of violence and warfare in the world today, but back in the early 1940's we were involved in an even greater war that affected almost every nation on Earth.
There are always troubling times. Every age believe that "the end times are near", but the fact is that you still have to go to work Monday morning and pay the bills.
I am a Christian, but I must admit I have my doubts about the Book of Revelation. I think John of Patmos might have got hold of a funny mushroom...

I believe it
Now as He [that’s Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:3-7
People say we always have had wars and famine but read on
“All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:8
The word Jesus uses for sorrows is the word “odin” which translated means contractions or labor pains.
The closer the contractions the sooner the arrival
What are the three areas that Jesus said to watch out for?
Religious world
Political world
Natural world
Religious World:
It is estimated that about 1000 people in America alone claim they are Jesus
Political World:
In the 20th century over 200 million people died as a result of war
There are 38 armed conflicts going on in 28 nations
Terrorist attacks in 2003 totaled 175. It rose to 655 in 2004
Natural World
Almost 1/6 of the world’s population can’t meet basic nutritional needs
Pestilence- AIDS, SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, West Nile Virus
The Hurricanes of the past few yrs
In the first 1500 yrs after Jesus the earth averaged about 2 major earthquakes each century
But it made a dramatic increase to over 130 in the 1900s

The reason that I believe that these are the Last Days is becuase Israel is a nation again (after having been trodden down by the gentiles for centuries) and there are wars and rumours of wars, famines, and pestilences; also, the revived Roman Empire (the European Union) exists. Watch all the episodes of the TV program available at www.jvim.com. Read the Bible for yourself.

A study of the 15 major religions of the world will show that each one has eschatalogical events. (end times:end of the world: etc). If one studies what each religion points out as the "sign of the times" one cannot help but believe that it is coming soon.

God never gave us an exact time, but He did give us the general characteristics of the last generation preceding His return. i also believe we are close, and by that, I'm thinking it will all wind down within the next 25 or 30 years.

The end of the gentile times, or the trampling of the nations arrived.
However, before the end of the present 'conformities of this world' (Romans 12:2) gets here, things will get a lot worse. Yep, as bad as things are, they will get worse. However, it is soon.

Yes!!! more earthquakes than usual, more volcanos, the decline of religion and the ordaining of homosexuals to be pastors, clearly against God's laws, more hurricanes, tornados and warming trend in the weather.

Matthew 3:2: "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
The message is getting a little stale, don't you agree?
