i used ot have dandruff and an itchy scalp, so i used Head and Shoulders 2 in 1, it got rid of the flakes and the itch, but it made my hair look bad. so i switched to a different shampoo and conditioner, now my hair looks pretty good and it feels pretty good but the itch is back, not so much dandruff, but the itch is driving me crazy! is there anything that'll get rid of the dandruff/dry scalp but won't make my hair look bad again?

Use a medicated shampoo like Nizoral and a regular conditioner. With a shampoo like this, you only need to use it 2-3 times a week, and on other days, you can use your regular shampoo. It's also okay to wash your scalp with one type of shampoo and use another kind for the rest of your hair.

Yes! There is a product made by Graham Webb, Its called Ice cap. Go to a salon and see if they sell Graham Webb products, if they do by this product. it will get rid of the itch and dandruff. It may tingle the first couple of times you use it and your head will get cold but its totally normal. Your hair will also be shinny and you will love it. Good luck

Go to a hair store/beauty supply and buy a head scatchy pad. Just tell um your problem and they'll help ya out. I use this thing in the shower that scratches your head and gets all the shampoo out. I don't got nails, i'm a guy, so i need a little help gettin it all out. And you'll beable to use the shampoo that you like.

You should try Nizoral OTC... it's a little expensive (like 12.99 for a fairly good size bottle) but it works wonders and will last you forever! Massage it into your scalp, leave it on for like 3-4 minutes then condition with your regular conditioner. Do not get it into your eyes because it will sting. Hope this helps! :)

Nizoral - it's been found that dandruff is really caused by a fungal infection - Nizoral will clear it up REALLY quickly and you can go back to using your favourite shampoo. One small bottle will last a LONG time.

.Buy some tee tree shampoo, it does the trick. also will leave you hair nice and it feels great on the scalp. It doesn't smell so good, but once it dry the order will go away.

could be that it's not dandruff, there are other conditions that cause itch and flaking.... see a doctor, since there are prescription scalp lotions available incase it's something other than dandruff

my husband had this problem and went to a Dermotegoist and received a prescription for a medicated shampoo. Unfortunately He can not remember the name. I would recommend a derm- topologist.

Good Luck
