My bestfriend had been going out with a guy for about a year and they broke up about 3 months ago. She now has a new boyfriend but she still has feelings for her ex. Now her ex is really into me and I am really into him , we just seem so compatable, should I pass up this oppurtunity with this great guy or say no because of my friends feelings?

Now, think about this for a second. Is the friendship you have with this girl important? If it is important to you, do NOT get with her ex. Understand that no matter what she says to you it's really going to bother her, because she still has feelings for him. They dated too long for you to snatch him up. If he were a week long thing, it's different. Maybe even a month long ex could be ok. One year? Stop yourself. You may be in to him, but remember that other guys will come along that you'll be in to. Plus he may be in to you because you're his ex girlfriends friend. I know many guys that have done that just to upset their ex. Would you want your friend to do this to you? Seriously. You know what you should and shouldn't do, I hope my advice solidified that. Good luck sweetie!

my first response is yes!!! It is wrong. Its your "BEST FRIEND" not an acquaintance. You already know how your friend feels about the situation- "they broke up about 3 months ago... she still has feelings for her ex". Why would you want to risk her friendship. Ohhhhhh I get it :)) She is your best friend, but you are not hers! Be careful of what you get, you may loose a friend in the process. Enough time hasn't passed enough for her to heal.

ive been in ur sitation b4. if he has feelins for u and u have feelins for him then go 4 it! u cant let ur friends stand in the way of ur love life. i bet she would go out wid ur ex wouldnt she?????,my best friend did

duh...talk to her about it, but personal experience tells me that if you want to stay friends with her...pass up the guy
