Hard as it may be for you to believe, some people do not believe in God, and see no reason to respect what they see to be a figment of the imagination. It would be like asking you to respect the Great Earth Goddess, or the Hindi God Shiva. It won't happen, because you don't believe in it, and although others do, you probably think they're stupid to believe in that. Scorn is a form of disrespect. Christians disrespect the religions of others all the time. It's the same thing, except this time, you are the one being disrespected.
This is life, it's not fair, but it is interesting.

People love darkness instead of God. sad to say. I can only stay on answers and have to go because I see very rude questions and dumb comments about God, it just boils my blood to the point that I have to close yahoo answers.

When you invade a land in the name of God, as the wonderful christian soldiers did in the Americas, and slaughter the natives if they don't accept your foriegn God, you are going to be questioned. Would you care to go to Wounded Knee and explain to the Lakota why their ancestors were gunned down by christian soldiers? Would you care to stand there on the massacre grave site and talk about how wonderful christianity is?

Even God has a sense of humor but maybe those of which you speak dont mean disrespect but only want to be enlightened. Maybe some are truly ignorant and for that we must forgive and educate not condemn

I think some may do it to get attention, but some ppl may truly be curious. Religion, spirituality, and God are often hard things to grasp.

I've been asking that same question and got no answer that makes sense!......I've discovered that the 95% per cent of the people that log onto this site are atheists, agnostic, non-believing GOD Hating Heathens!......I uderstand why they don't respect GOD and other's belief in GOD!...It's beacuse they want to spead their "HATE" and UNBELIEF Abroad, and they don't care who they hurt or offend!.......this religious/spiritual site should be called:. "God Hating Heathens Forum. Burn".....

Some to foster conversation and exchange ideas. Unfortunately many people do not agree on who or what God is and most have questions they need answered.

Not everyone shares your beliefs. Some like to discuss spiritual issues and try to understand others.

there is no such thing as a dumb or stupid question....just because you may know the answer other may not. if you are a christian is it not your job to help others understand the bible and to help spread the word?
