I don't know because I'm not God. But I can guess maybe seeing us disobey Him and seeing so many choosing to reject Him even though He died on the cross and raised Himself up from the dead to destroy the powers of death over us and to save us from the ugliness of sin.

It was hard for God to take the sin of the world onto Himself in the form of Jesus Christ and to be seperated from God the father. He felt the total effects of Sin even though He is sinless He felt the total seperation from God that all the sin in the world creates He felt what it was going to be like for people in Hell. He even asked why God had forsaken Him, Which He hadn't, but He was seperated at that moment in time, because of the sin that He had taken onto Himself. That was and is the only thing that is Hard for God.

I'm sure He has his moments when he sees what we do down here on the Earth He created for us. Things like war; corrupt politics; rebellious youth in spiked chartreuse hair and body piercings; neglect of the environment He put in place to protect and preserve the delicate ecological balance between humans, plants and all other animals; oil spills; lawyers; priests that are child molesters; drug abuse; celebrities who brazenly tout the birth of their out-of-wedlock illegitimate children; filthy, disgusting language and casual use of four-letter words; wholesale killings of those whose skin color, religion, or ideal isms we don't agree with; sloth; adultery; and the rejection of His ten commandments as the law of the land. Just to mention a few things that might really be hard for God to tolerate. -RKO-

God is infinitely patient with hard hearted, hard headed people. We don't have patience for each other but He's always there waiting for us to "get it."
