Has anyone had any experience with this? the kitties are 13 weeks old. if this works it will be great but i dont know if i should believe everything i read on the internet "duh" so i am asking! Anyone do it or try to do it and fail? any tips? BTW they are both lil boys

the process. over the course of a few weeks: slowly add books/boxes under litter box next to toilet until litter box is same height. Get an aluminum roasting pan (throw away kind) duct tape into toilet bowl so it doesnt wiggle. keep seat down lid up. put 1-2 inches of litter in pan ..let kitty go this way for a week. next cut medium sized hole in bottom of pan and put litter around edges so kitty gets used to the sound of urine/feces hitting water, and begins to learn to balance all four paws on the toilet seat instead of climbing in pan. Next cut bighole in bottom of pan so that there is only 1-2 inches around the edges and lightly sprinkle with litter so kitty knows that is still where he should go. next week just remove pan totally and throw away the litter box forever. I guess this works well when you have a 2nd bathroom and dont have to worry about always moving the training pan out of the toilet bowl. Never flush when kitty is too near it will scare him!

well im not sure i have two little kitten girls put there toilet somewhere easy to reach n any occasion quick to get to say you see your cat starting to pee pick it up rush it to the kitty litter and put it there pet its back they love it and when done they will hope on you(they are so funny)if its poop run there to like pee but since it takes long talk to them to calm them down keep doing this for 1 week and they will get use to it if they poop or pee on there floor dont pick them up smack them, dont use high pich voice, dont yell at them or they will be scared of you so much theyll scratch you, bite you, poop any wear and it will never change insteady say no gently and pick them up pet them and walk over to wear it is and put them there to show them where to go they will know where to go now, dont put the toilet/litter to high up remember to clean it once every 1-2 weeks and add centen kitty litter ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A CAT TO POTTY TRAIN UNLESS ITS A HUMAN IN DISQUESE

i know there was a story in the news years ago, a guy invented a way to teach cats to use the toilet. he had a small litterbox that fits on the toilet under the seat, and a bar/switch that you put on the tank that cats can move. you'd get the cats used to using the bowl, so they'd stand on the seat and do their business. then when the scratch afterwards, that would flush it when they hit the bar/switch. sorry i dont remember the name of it

I was foolish enough many years ago to buy one of those cat-toilet trainers. The first time the cat jumped on it, it kind of collapsed, the cat jumped down and never went near it again.

Just one person's experience, and a long time ago - they might have stuff now that really works. Will be interesting to see what others have to say.

i have lavatory educated a cat earlier and it worked. What you want to do is get the cat's muddle container and placed it next on your lavatory that you want him/her to apply. Then once the cat recognizes that because the position to bypass, slowly start up elevating the muddle container till it receives to be the height of the lavatory lid. once you get to that level, get a bowl or something that would carry some muddle and stay put in the lavatory bowl beginning and position some products of his mess from the old muddle container into it and he/she will have the ability to with any success start up to observe it and safeguard that is employer in that. once he starts getting into there many times, start up taking the muddle out of the bowl to the position it receives to be little or no and then finally get rid of the bowl all mutually. it would want to take a lengthy time period relying on how rapidly he learns, yet that is the way I educated mine and he's a trustworthy lavatory consumer now. desire this enables and good success.
