I would suggest talking to your local EMS( Emergency Medical Services) such as EMT,Firefighters,First Responders, to see if they could guide you on how to obtain free or low cost training but knowingly you may have to take classes to get your EMT before becoming a Paramedic.
There are other options if you do not want to go through EMT training and want to jump into EMT-B Contact techincal schools or community colleges in your area
IT is great you want to become a paramedic..IT is a rough career choice but in the end, it is very rewarding

Talk to some at a college. Many colleges offer a course you can take but first you have to go through EMT basic that you can take through most colleges then they can direct you to the programs in your area for paramedic school. I know several people who have taken or are taking the course.

Paramedics are, or at least in my state, a one year full time course. It is physically demanding but very rewarding. Go to your local community college, go to the fire department, even go to the hospitals because you may enjoy nursing instead. Good luck to you. Stay the course.
