a good economy car would be a volkswagon... u can get a variety of their cars in turbo deisel engine which gives almost nearly as much as a hybrid... a strong car would be a volvo.. if u are looking for a sturdy car to get u across the country a volvo would be the best.... a more traditional car would be a ford or a dodge... these companies give u a choice of almost any car that is legal to sell in America... they also still sell a few of the classics...(ford)... for example the thunder bird and the mustang... then of course u have ur more luxurious and higher quality cars like mercedes and jaguar and infinty and lincoln but lincoln's take premium level gas so it would be pouring out of ur pocket eventually... and hummers only get about 7 miles a gallon so there is a nother one of thosecars that flex fuel could help... these are just some of the choices out there... personally, if i could pick any car for myself it would be a fully loaded VW phaeton.... but i hope u make th right choice
God Bless

I drive a 97 Lincoln Town Car. Yeah, its big but not bad on gas. About 26-28 mpg on highway. 17-19 in town. Bought it because 3 different mechanic friends said it would last me 25 years if I kept it serviced. 9 years later it still rides and drives like the day I bought it. I like big cars. Feel safer. Most of my friends drive new Toyotas and Hondas but they ride stiffer than my car. They make fun of my cars size but they do like the feel when riding. I don't think its much bigger than the new Caprices. m

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima,

I LOVE my car!

I work at a dealership and can pretty much buy anything (within reason, of course) and the Altima is my vehicle of choice.
