Cards can take a while to get use to your energy. The cards them selves have their own energy. I had one set that was uncooperative no matter what I did or how many times I cleansed them. One of my friends (whom had never had interest in the occult) came over and had an immediate interest in them. The cards and she work very well together.
Maybe these cards aren’t meant for you. You’ll know when you find the right ones.

Just start working with them.

First off... Do you like your deck? Are the pictures pleasing to you? If you don't, get a different deck.

Ground and center and just start looking at the pictures. What do they mean to you, how do they make you feel? Go through a dozen or so cards at a time and then put them away.

Don't pay a lot of attention to the little book. Trying to read Tarot with the little book usually is not all that effective. Use your own intuition.

After you get a feel for your cards start looking at cards with the little book. Does your interpretation of the cards agree with the book? How is it different? Do you like your interpretation better? Are you beginning to understand the symbols in your deck better?

If you want to start casting cards do a simple spread first thing in the day. Say just three card. Past, Present, Future. Get a notebook and write down your impressions. Go through your day and look at the same cards again in the evening. Did they reflect your day? Write down anything that strikes you.

You goal is to become friends with your cards. They should eventually feel familiar. Take it slow and easy and they'll become a valuable tool for introspection. If they don't, chuck them in the garbage and try something else.

First, ouija boards are not dangerous. They do not "always" release "evil" spirits. I have used them many times and have never had any trouble. In fact, nothing has ever been "released" from them. That is not what a ouija board does. It is a communication device. It is like saying a phone can release someone. Talking to someone on the phone is not going to make them appear in your house and communicating via the ouija board is not going to make a spirit, evil or otherwise, appear in your house. That is just a scare tactic created by religious groups to convince people to convert and not use any method of divination because only their god can see the future and being able to do so is evil. Divination methods are simply a way to focus your mind and give a visual display of your own gift of premonition. Although most people have this ability, a lot have been taught to ignore or deny it and thus are unable to do it any longer (if you don't use it, you lose it). There is no danger in any form of divination onto themselves. It is what the person that does with the information that can cause the danger. Of course that goes for reading a newspaper as well.

I am a christian, but I am not narrow minded. If you want to believe in tarot cards go ad head and do it. Just believe. and doubt it! Like I do with my religion.

Why do you want desperately to believe in such quackery? Consider developing a rational, science-based view of life, free of superstition and supernaturalism.
You don't need narrow-minded religions OR silly quackery like tarot, astrology, etc.

well i have a software for tarot card reading..
first.. if you have doubt then don't use it. trust me.
tarot card isn't really magic..
picture this... tarot card reading is just like a mirror.. the card is a reflection of your mind.. so what the card tell you isn't something mystical.. it's already in your mind.. only we project it into the card..
and also remember that the card is just 'tendency'.. it's not fixed.. since it's just reflection of your mind, will, tendencies inside you..
as you change yourself, your tarot card reading also changes..
it's just a tool..
when you have practiced yourself a higher awareness.. you won't need the card anymore.. you can see it clearly in you.. it's called 'self understanding'..

It is immensely spiritually safer for you to go to a prophet than for you to use tarot cards. One well-recommended prophet is Kim Clement. His website is http://www.kimclement.com

I do not claim to be a prophet, but here is a "word" at no extra charge:

I sense you are in a situation (not necessarily the tarot cards) where you need wisdom. If you read the Bible, God will speak to you through it giving you the direction you need.

My daughter bought Tarot cards and gave them to me as a gift many years ago. They are no different than any other toy, so what is to be afraid of?

Fearful they will bite you?

They won't.

If you intend to use them to predict the future, don't waste your time.

haha you obviously know why you have doubts that you can't shake if you don't want a Christian to answer. Think about it. Why don't you want to do it why aren't you sure about it just think about it a bit. I am not going to say anything other than that. Don't want to seem narrow minded or anyting ;)

Trust me, I know how you feel. Next time try this:

Before you do the throw, don't focus on getting the anwer you WANT. In fact, don't focus on anything but the question at hand.

The answer you get might have meaning beyond what you're asking, know what I mean?

Blessed Be.
