KISS HIM, FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!!!
Just kiss him. Kiss him on the cheek, and if he likes you as more than a friend, he will probably try to kiss you on your lips. Then you will know for sure!!!!

You have to express yourself clearly to him. The problem may be that he is as shy as you are and is afraid of rejection. But communicating with a poem, a song, or a letter may help. You also need to assure him that you don't care for anyone else. Guys don't want to play second fiddle. Finally, be sure that your body and oral hygiene and your appearance are not the reason he has not made a move earlier. Take these up a notch and you will probably get your man.

If you two are real friends, you'd be able to talk to him about the issue without him being offended. Then if you find out that he doesn't want more than friendship, you might need to stop hanging around with him so much so that you can get over your feelings for him.

I know just the type your talking about.... If he's anything like the man I dated 1 year ago, their "Non-Commitable" types !!! I'd be careful, not to go gettting yourself hurt, like I did... I had to finally break, things off with him... Because, he just was too "Non-shalant" about the whole relationship, all together.... I even use to ask him, where's this all going, anyway, you just dont seem like you want more, with us, like I do.... He'd laugh, and just change the subject with a hug, and so on..... I'm glad I ended things, cuz I heard, he's had two other girlfriends, he's broken-up, with since me.... And I haven't even dated anyone, since him... By, choice,of course,..... I decided, I just want to stay "Single", until, my last two-teens, are grown... Who knows maybe, "Mr. Right" will finally, come along, and change my mind, about giving up, the dating thing... Only time, will tell.......

Just keep being his friend. One day, the opportunity will arise for you to tell him how you feel, or for him to realize he likes you for more than just a friend.
My daughter just went through this. She is 16. She would tell me how much she LOVED her best friend. He, was in love with her favorite girl friend. She listened and mourned with him thought it all and when it was over, he realized how good she had been to him and how she had stood by him and he woke up. Now, they are dating and they are crazy about each other. They were best of friends for a year though, first.
Good luck and just keep hanging on. Don't spoil it though by pushing him. You may just push him away.
