Why serve just one? It's a party, treat your friends well.

Grill some ribs, brats and chicken breasts if they're the type who will eat with their fingers.

If they're older and like knives and forks, grill some lamb chops and Greek chicken, both marinated with lemon juice and olive oil, sprinkled with some garlic powder and onion salt, then a little cracked pepper.

If it's a really fun crowd, make up skewers of lamb and chicken, as well as some skewers of mushrooms, onions and peppers. Push them off the skewers onto serving plates and let them make gyros or fajitas with pita bread or tortillas and a little yogurt or sour cream sauce.

Forget about the traditional ribs, hot dogs and steaks. Try something different, like grilled trout. You can even cook the fish with it's head on. After it is done, cut the head off. Did you know that fish with it's head on is good luck? Anyway, follow instructions below for a scrumptious meal.... Add your favorite potato salad or cole slaw. Don't forget the grilled corn-on-the-cob!

1. Wash your trout inside and out.
2. Take soy sauce and pour inside each fish.
3. Add cut-up tomatoes and place inside each fish.
4. Now place each or all the fish and wrap them in foil.
5. Before closing the foil pour more soy sauce on top.
6. Place the foiled wrap on the grill and leave there for
10-minutes on each side. You don't have to check this
because the aluminum foil will protect and evenly heat
the fish.
You can be brave and not use the foil, but the foil will assure your fish retains its juices and the tomatoes will not fall into the briquettes. I guarantee, this fish meal will be the best, the easiest, and less over-the-grill maintenance. ENJOY!

Are you planning to actually BBQ? or just grill? If you are actually going to BBQ, slow and smokey pork ribs are the way to go. If you are just grilling, you cant go wrong with Chicken. Inexpensive for 12 people and quick and easy to grill. Marinate in Lime Juice, Lemon juice, Lots of Pineapple juice and a shot of tequila. marinate for 30-45min. Throw em on the grill, throw some pineapple slices on the grill with them, serve em up with maybe some rice, or mezzotubi pasta. DELICIOUS!

hey hun....i don't know about the BBQ part accept chicken (which is gettin' pretty expensive here lately) but if you like to grill just the same....i love turkey burgers...there healthier lower in sodium (which is good for the older peeps) and are actually more tender then beef...not to mention a rather pretty price tag that comes with the meat....hope this helps...love daisy

For a dozen people, depending on your $$ budget, & if there's any kids there. I would do some hot dogs but then do either chicken or ribs. I like to bake my chicken & ribs for about an hour so they are not raw when I put them on the grill. Then put it on with your barbeque sauce to brown....Mmmmm what time ?
