Just be yourself & keep w/ your firends. It's not really as scary as everyone says. At least at my Jr. High, nobody ever got shoved in a locker or put in a trash can. A lot of the kids you'll know from your elementary school and it's a great opportunity to make new friends! I'd say the best advise though, is make sure you get a map of the campus & know where all your classes are before you start school. It will make it a lot easier (it's no fun to be late to every class because you get lost). Also, make sure you memorize your locker combination as soon as possible, or keep it in a folder w/ your school stuff.
Good luck and enjoy! Make the best of life & remember you have a lot of your life ahead of you!

Not sure what you're scared about...personally, I was pretty nervous and timid when I first started junior high...but after a couple days - once you get the hang of how things work there, you'll be alright.

Main thing is, don't let anyone bully you. If you do, you'll be picked on for the rest of the school year. Never, NEVER back down from a fight. If someone has a problem with you and wants to fight, cheat. Hit them in the throat, poke their eyes and kick/punch them in the groin.
If they want to wrestle and the fight goes to the ground, start biting and eye gouging.

Being bullied is a terrible experience and I went through it for 4 years at school before I finally took my Dad's advice and did something about it. After I beat him to oblivion, no one EVER messed with me at that school again. And the worst thing that happened to me was I got suspended for 2 days.

Nowadays, I'm 33 years old a a martial arts/streetfighting teacher in Kansas City, Missouri.

Hopefully, nothing like that will happen.
Don't worry; you'll be alright.

Stay away from Goths. You will get in SEROIUS trouble. Hype up your locker! Make it cute. E-mail me @ miss_tech.k9@rogers.com and I can give you SO many tips. For now, you need to stay on the teachers good side, make friends everyone (even the preps) and participate in sports. I'm in volleyball and i love it! I'm just starting Junior High, but it's basicly the same thing as 6 th grade in my school. So if you need more or more detail email me. I will blow your WORLD with my tips. I just can't fit them in this.

Well in junior high most of the kids will be into goofing off, sleeping, throwing spitballs, and paying no kind of attention and it's really tempting cuz it looks as if they're having so much fun you want to join in but trust me that's the wrong way to go.
Just pay attention and don't bother the teacher(but don't get to close to them either) and you'll be good.

Be yourself, never be a follower be a leader follow your own judgment and make your own decision, keep your appearance up never be the total out spoken because then you will be known as a big mouth person with no self esteem, and then you will be the most popular person in school and of course get into a sport or a cheerleader sport and do it well as well as keep your grades up.

Just stay confident. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do. Junior high is full of peer and also adult pressure. Just keep your head held high. And everyday when you look in the mirror, say i am somebody i can do this!
