I love pit bulls too. Everybody says they are mean, but they are just misunderstood. I have 4. Tigger, Daisy, Rose, and Star. They are all just bundles of sweetness. They all have like these hazel eyes, the girls anyways. But tigger has these big gray puppy dog eyes. Then they all have these diamond name tags. I bought daisy one. Rose got jealous. Got her one 1 month later. Star saw. Got Star's off of E-Bay. Tigger got his because it was a Winnie the pooh tag. I don't know if his are real diamonds or not. I guess you can tell they are spoiled. They get anything they want. All they have to do is give me that sad look. They all know how to do it. They go sit in a corner and look down at the ground. Then when i say don't give me the look, they lay down and put their paws over their eyes like they are crying. You have to see it. Its so cute. I love pit bulls. I hate when people train them to be vicious. Do you own pit bulls and are they bundles of sweetness too? Mines are!

Border collies. As a result of this selective breeding, the Border Collie developed the unique working style of gathering and fetching the stock with wide sweeping outruns. The stock is then controlled with an intense gaze known as "eye", coupled with a stalking style of movement. This selective breeding over hundreds of years developed the Border Collie's intensity, energy and trainability which are features so important that they are equal to physical size and appearance. The Border Collie has extraordinary instinct and an uncanny ability to reason. One of its greatest assets is the ability to work out of sight of its master without commands. Breeding based on this working ability has made this breed the world's premier sheep herding dog, a job the Border Collie is still used for worldwide.

I must confess, of the 14 identified original canine breeds (you can google that) the Malamute is the dog I am most fond of. I have been involved with breed for over 30 years and my 2 current ladies are named Talkeetna and Kahshe, 10 year old sisters, good as Alaskan Gold.

I love Newfoundlands, i wanted one since i was seventeen, and finally got my Kodi two years ago. I have a soft spot for any dog that has some kind of problem or has a bad reputation. He have a boxer right now that is deaf. I love rotties, pits, mastiffs. Almost any large breed.

Doberman.
they are a beautiful and very graceful breed of dog, and are very protective of their family and home.
they are not the mad dogs that people used to make such a fuss over, that myth has now been moved over to the pit bull.

The best dog in the world is a Yorkie-poo. They are small, so you can take them anywhere. They are a non-shedding breed, and they come in different colors, too. They are very intelligent, love people, and easy to train. So that's number 1.
BTW-- Second favorite, is the Golden Retreiver. Loves kids, easy to train, and is very beautiful.

My all time favorite breed is Boxers. They have personality plus and are an all around great family dog! How can you say no to a mushy face like that?

a couple of days ago my friend got me a dog from the animal shelter. i am not one to generally like dogs but this works out really well. she is a whippet dog. she is a small version of a greyhound. she is very pretty. she loves to be played with and i enjoy her company. my husband likes pitbulls but he has rules for when he considers getting one. they have to be a puppy and not more than six weeks old. he believes that they need to be socialized with other people and dogs so they will not become aggressive. they are one of the most loyal dogs but IT"S ALL IN HOW YOU RAISE THEM. i am so tired of people blaming dogs when it's IN HOW THEY ARE RAISED. that's why in detroit michigan when dogs (mainly pitbulls) are used in dog fighting or during drug busts the dogs are taken away and put down. People need to be responsible with their pets. I too like pitbulls, but IT"S ALL IN HOW YOU RAISE THEM!
