I Am from Slidell, Louisiana and lost his records in Katrina. I am now living 5 hours away in Alabama. They let him go to school after the hurricane but know are saying I need the records before he can start school next month. I called the doctors office but it was also destorted and they said they lost everything and did not know to tell me to go. There are no state or local links online either, If anyone know how I can retrieve them please let me know..

I would go to your son's new school district's administration building and ask them. Go to the top instead of messing with the school. Explain to them your situation and what you've done up until now to get a hold of these seemingly lost/destroyed records and what you can do given the circumstances so that your son can go to school come August. They should be able to give you some direction and they would have the final say so you would know what to do for sure.

Your family doctor should be able to get them if he can not produce them from his own files.

If not or if that will take some time, get a note from him stating the reason and give that to the school. It is not legal but should buy you about 6 months to retrieve the documents.

you'll likely ought to bodily bypass to the clinical professional's place of work in which the photos were given and grant your identity and some different information in the previous they are going to re-launch the tips to you. maximum places of artwork received't purely deliver you tips except you could tutor who you're. purely take a visit there, provide them the information and they could pull his record and grant you with a replica.

You call his old pediatrician and get him to send or fax the old records over. However, if they were completely destroyed including through the computer system...the only thing you can do is start over. Good luck and I'm sorry that happened to you.

Contact the local health department. They may have some records or can tell you what to do next.
