This is a GREAT question! Notice that Jesus made this statement to the pharasees after they claimed that he did all of his miracles through the power of Satan. Jesus Responds by telling a story. The story is that if a man wants to pillage a house, the "strong man" in that house must be tied up, then the house can be pillaged (Jesus is just telling a story, he's not promoting theft!). The demonic powers are the strong man, and the Holy Spirit ties up those powers and takes whatever he jolly well pleases from the demonic power's home (the human soul).

Jesus' point is this...The Holy Spirit is the only power that overcomes demonic power. The Pharasees claimed that the Holy Spirit's power in jesus was the power of Satan (casting out satan from other people). The Pharassees were guilty of an unforgivable sin for seeing the very power of God in Christ and calling it a supreme evil.

The Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit was uttered to the Pharasees of that day, and is certainly not directed to anyone else. All who believe in Christ are inhabited by the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:12-13).

:)

In God's estimation, there is no such thing. Sins are a human construct designed the early religious leaders to control the masses through fear-based living. Only humans judge others' actions as unpardonable.

It is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit and no you can't do it today because it can only happen when you are brought up before the antichrist in his false temple and the Holy Spirit tries to speak through you and you deny it the right to do so.

That is the unpardonable sin, to not allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you when you are facing Death which is Satan, who will be here as Antichrist or "instead of Christ" (in the Greek).

Don't do this if you are brought up before him!!

The unpardonable sin is the sin that you will not repent from. For example, if I call myself a GOD loving Christian and yet I enjoy pornography, can I be saved? Christ us FROM our sins not IN our sins!!!

Otherwise, EVERY sin under the sun is forgivable to a repentant heart.

What can you do today about it? PRAY and remove that sin from your life. The process may not be simple, but, if you have faith in the LORD and want to live a Christian existence HE will provide a way for victory over your sin(s). Read Romans 7.

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

The blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is the unpardonable sin.

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is saying the miracles that Jesus performed were by the power of Satan.

A true Christian will never blasphemy the Holy Ghost.

The only sin that cannot be forgiven is to sin against the Holy Spirit. I will explain. When a soul in its its pride is unwilling to seek forgiveness from the Lord is the only sin that cannot be forgiven. The Lord will never infringe the gift of our free-will. So if a soul refuses to reconcile with God then God will never force the soul to ask for forgiveness. Now some people say, "I am such a terrible person and God will never forgive my great sins etc." But this indirectly is saying to God "My sins are more powerful then you because you cannot forgive them!!!".
I repeat the Lord will not take away your free will - if you want to go to hell then you choose hell.

Someone may be a serial murderer, rapist, peodophile canibal yet if this soul sincerely is repentant of their sins then God will forgive that soul. God is above all Love and Mercy! And He LOVES YOU Very much. God is called by some as the Hound of Heaven - because he never gives up in showing a soul how much he loves he/her. Every soul, even those souls who choose hell have been approached by God in some way a number of times to change their ways and repent of their sins. God loves all of his chrildren and we are his children! He does not want any of us to be lost. What Loving parent would want his child to suffer eternal pain and suffering. Hell is the total absence of God. The absence of God is to live without any peace or any joy at all. In Hell you can only be full of hate and despair and unmeasurable pain and suffering.

I think all the Christian here were close. Christ took all man's sin onto himself and paid the ultimate price and the man says "I don't except what Jesus did for me".. That is the sin that will never be forgiven. All his other sins will not even come up at judgment. The only charge will be that you belittled the GREATEST gift that was ever offered..
