pinkie rose, your excuses are moronic, and Steve, I said DON'T quote the bible, are you some kind of moron that you can't read? The bible is christian, it hs nothing to do with muslims. In fact, it does not even mention Islam.

you know, Biomimetik, that every one of those israeli raids was because of Palestinians attacking israeli women and children, You should really get your facts straight, and don't just use certain false facts and half truths to prove your point. It seems that you think its proper for muslims to kill jewish women and children in their.homes and schools but not for Israel to retaliate in kind?

I am not trying to be racist against muslims at all, but it DOES say in the koran to kill the disbelievers (non muslims). The fundamentalist muslims who believe every word the Koran says try and follow Muhammad's every word.
"O prophet! Strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is hell, an evil refuge indeed." (Koran 9:73)
"When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly." (Koran, 47:4)
The muslims are simply trying to follow what their relgious book says to do.

Not all Muslims are violent. Actually its is probably less than 1/10th of 1 percent. There are an estimated 1.2 billion Muslims and only 13-14 million Jews.
The media has given a very skewed picture of reality and the western view is out of whack and biased. Many Muslims find it difficult to accept the fact the nation of Israel exists and are upset that one of their Most Holy places (the Dome of the Rock) is controlled by the Isralis. Many Muslims peoples feel that the Palestinians suffer abuse and persecution at the hands of the Muslims. Actually the Jews could make the same argument regarding the Muslims.
Problems between the Jews and Muslims date back to the lifetime of Mohammad. A small group of Jews living in Saudia Arabia (at the time)alligned themselves with the enemies of Islam. At the time the Muslims faced the very real threat of being wiped out. In my opinion many muslims never got over that and were unable to forgive the Jews.
Muslims (and we are talking over a billion) are just like you.
They get up, they put on their pants, they go to work, they make sacrifices for their family.
The real question is why do people kill? Both the Koran and the Torah are against murder. Think about it all religions main teachings revolve around the need for love of everyone, man, woman, child, neighbor,Muslim and Jew.

Rivalry... They have the same "sacred " ground Jerusalem and where the Jewish temple was built (the most important building in their religion now stands a Muslim mosque)... It was the same with Christians and Muslims during the crusades... the Muslims conquered the "sacred" places of Christianity so a war started... and is also intolerance... the Muslims don't tolerate other religions, and well Jews are seen as no1 enemy because they came to reclaim their territory... Anyways there are a lot of reasons mainly political and religious.. (I'm a christian and i have to say that the answer is in the bible.. but if u asked not to say from the bibles perspective...)

It absolutely has everything to do with the Bible. If you read it, you would know that it does. It is an excellent source of history for one. But at any rate, the Koran instructs Muslims to kill infidels and Jews are included in that group. In addition, it goes back to Abraham and his two sons. His son by an Egyptian slave and his son by his wife. The decendants both claim the birth right of legitimate, first born son. Thus there has always been animosity between the two groups and always shall be. When there is peace between Jews and Muslims....It is the end of the world as we know it. Whether you think the Bible has anything to do with it or not, it has all the answers to all the questions concerning the Jews and Muslims. Another good source is the Koran in its complete form, not the versions and pieces that you see in bookstores. Muhammed grew to have big problems with Jews and Christians when they wouldn't convert to his religion. The Koran is a progressive book. It begins with love and bring everyone in and then ends with kill those that won't convert. Read them both and you will find all your answers.

am also curious about this: where do u get these thoughts from?
1 i read a part of the jews holy book they belief that jews are creatures of god and that all other human beings are only slaves or animals of a human shape just to serve them
2 a famous saying for the jews: a good arab is a dead one, regardless of his religion whether islam or christianity they just hate arabs
3 if you are really looking for the truth why dont u ask jews why did they choose a land filled with people living peacefully and immigrated to it just to cause death war, kill children like (al durah) while he was with his father in the street, or like (iman) the little baby who was killed no mercy or like thousands of other children women young people and elderly.. why do they ban them from life food medicine education, freedom..
and just a comment on one of the answers about how prophet muhammad pbuh killed some jews and took some as slaves, i am speechless, dont those people read before they say stuff like that? islam ended the concept of slavery, because all human beings are created by god they are the same, slavery is forbidden in islam because it takes away the simplest and most important rights of a human being which is freedom

The Bible has everything to do with the answer.
The 12 tribes of Israel are God's chosen people.
In the book of Genesis, a messenger of the Lord is speaking to the mother of Ismael, Isaac's half-brother and the first born of Abraham through Hagar.
It is widely believed that Ishmael is the father of the Muslim nations and that since this time the Muslim nations have been set against the people of Israel (Jacob, Isaac's second born son, was renamed Israel by God and had twelve sons. These are the twelve tribes of Israel - see below).
Gen 16:10 The Angel of the LORD also said to her, "I will greatly multiply your offspring, and they will be too many to count."
Gen 16:11 Then the Angel of the LORD said to her: You have conceived and will have a son. You will name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.
Gen 16:12 This man will be like a wild donkey. His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against him; he will live at odds with all his brothers.
Further passages in Genesis state:
Gen 25:12 These are the family records of Abraham's son Ishmael, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's slave, bore to Abraham.
Gen 25:13 These are the names of Ishmael's sons; their names according to the family records are: Nebaioth, Ishmael's firstborn, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
Gen 25:14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa,
Gen 25:15 Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
Gen 25:16 These are Ishmael's sons, and these are their names by their villages and encampments: 12 leaders of their clans.
Gen 25:17 This is the length of Ishmael's life: 137 years. He took his last breath and died, and was gathered to his people.
Gen 25:18 And they settled from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt as you go toward Asshur. He lived in opposition to all his brothers.
Gen 32:28 "Your name will no longer be Jacob," He said. "It will be Israel because you have struggled with God and with men and have prevailed."

The number one reason is the belief that a Jewish woman poisoned Mohammad, after he had killed her husband and children, and made her one of his slaves. It's sort of the same justification that German Christians had when they witnessed the death camps during the second world war and so many Jews died there. After all the Jews killed their Christ so therefor they deserved it... stupidity covers many religions, and many cultures, murder doesn't have to make any sense, to some it just has to be justified no matter how stupid it is,

Judy, believe it or not most of Muslim people (specially Arab) have nothing against Jewish people they lived among us in harmony and peacefully. till Jews adopted Zionism and then u occupied Palestine and ejected Palestinian people from their homes even after all what Jews have done to us we r still believe and respect Judaism as (the real pure one not the forge one) and we do treat our prophets Ibrahim Mohammad Moses PBUT equally. So, we are against the Jewish political movement the Zionism and its ideology not Judaism itself.
