my bf is texting me, asking what the next step is and about if he thinks im ready for the next step in our relationship. i am ready but i dont no what the step is. we r 13 and we already say 'i love you' and we also kiss. we both think sex is too far. help! what is the next step?

It is only appropriate to ask him frankly what he thinks to be the next step. As both of you seem to agree that sex is too far, ask him what he means. Clarity and a confusionless relationship is the only one that really lasts. Confine yourselves to only kissing as far a sphysical contact is concerned. Go out in groups and not to private places. If you need to go out alone; see tht you choose the public places like good ice cream parlours and so on.

The next step is to become good friends. No relationship will last unless you are good friends. I think sex is too soon for you. You are only 13 and need time to find yourselves.

He is most likely referring to sex, so if you aren't comfortable with having sex then you aren't ready for the next step. But get him to clarify his position.
P.S. He's probably with a bunch of his friends as he's texting you.

Ask him what HE thinks the nx step is. You cant possibly be ready, since you dont know what it is. It can be differenent things to different people. So that means it can be whatever you WANT it to be. And yes, sex is definitely too far! :)

at 13 there is too many hormones rushing through your body to make a mature decision.....and sex, whether it be vaginal oral or anal, is a very mature thing....please just stick to kissing and hanging out.....you'll be glad you did when you are older
