I guess this is a reflection of the world we live in but theirs alot to be learned here. I recently placed a question and stated I was 40 and looking to meet a younger woman. I was attacked in every way. None of you have a clue about me and what Im all about. Im a parent with a beautiful daughter and regularly date women my own age but Im being honest that Im attracted to younger woman. Wow what a surprise. Talk about a level of immaturity. Loosen up people. It was in a singles and dating catagory.

I'm 45 and I've dated younger men, a couple of them not much older than my oldest son. It wasn't going to go anywhere long term, but they were charming, eager to please, bright, energetic and attractive and found me to be mature, wise, secure in myself and wonderful. Sometimes the age difference can be refreshing for both parties.
What I discovered was that short term, I was completely enamoured by them... and they felt the same about me. Long term, I wound up with someone my own age because there's just a comfort in having a partner who *gets* you because they are a part of your generation :)
There's nothing wrong with being 40 and finding yourself attracted to younger women. They're beautiful and sexy and innocent to the hardships you've faced as an older man and as a parent... so they're still emotionally soft, not yet hardened by life's pain.... and they remind you of your own youth and the many choices you had available back then. Also, younger girls are often attracted to older guys, so why not just allow that attraction to happen naturally when it does?
We're not talking about some old guy stalking some under-aged teeny-bopper. We're talking about an older man interested in younger women. If we were discussing a young woman interested in older men, no one would have a problem with it.
I'm sorry you got slammed. It's a risk you run when you post a question on a site that's open forum to everyone :)
I met my husband internet dating (same way I met the younger guys) so try Yahoo Personals or DreamMates or Match.com. There are younger women out there who purposely plug in older age ranges for their matches because they're attracted to older men. It's how I wound up being asked out by several handsome younger men :) I'm wishing you well....

When you have an open forum such as this,you have to at least expect a small amount of BS.When I see questions that are really stupid instead of writing something really dumb,I will just skip over it. I have to admit,I have read some answers that have really made me laugh. As far as you being attracted to younger women,that is your business.

I don't think you should have been attacked beacuse you like younger women. It's perfectly fine infact my fiance is over 20 years older than me what you like is what you like but in all reality people are cruel and we as a human species just learn, deal and adjust

Because they can mouth off on here knowing they can get by with it. I am 31 and their are quita few smartmouthed kids on here. Sometimes when you ask a question, all you get is bs. We are not all like that. It takes all kinds to make this world go 'round.

Yeah I agree. A few days ago I posted a question that included something about me hating to go to the phsyiciatrist because I just do & one guy got all crazy like WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO SAY THAT ABOUT PHSYCIATRISTS? Soo don't worry about them they just like to make you feel bad because it makes them feel better.
