Only if it's worth exceeds the average property value of the properties in it's area. There is no excuse for multi-billion dollar businesses we call churches to be completely tax free. It is an offense to all citizenry and makes a mockery of God.

Churches (and Planned Parenthood for that matter) should at least pay property tax. There is one thing being non-profit and another hording real estate.

I think all property should be taxed.. Here in Utah it would hurt the Mormons bad, but it's mostly their fault that the schools are so over crowded. It think it's only fair to all tax payers to tax everything except the Public Buildings, such as public schools, Libarays, Federal, State, County, and City buildings...

Yes-- if every organization and EVERY individual payed their proper tax the governments would have BILLIONS more to waste.
