if you are gay they won't let you in? I don't mean all churches just some of them. I mean doesn't everyone sin, including the ones who go to church? I'm not trying to be religious it just seems illogical.

I don't know of any church who refuses gays at their services. However, gays don't think being gay is a sin...so why would gays want to go to church to pray for their gay sins?

One can pray anywhere, anytime. Anyone can come to a Christian church. Christians, or at least the churches that I have attended. would let anyone who was curious in. However, if one is in a gay relationship WHILE they are calling themselves Christians, that one is not a Christian. I've heard people say that "oh, I can't help being gay". Which isn't true in the first place, it's just a sorry excuse. However, one CAN abstain from a relationship. No excuse.

If any church turns anybody away for any reason then they are not a true church, it is just a place where people go and meet to make themselves look good in the eyes of others. But God does not look on the outside He looks on the inside. And they would do good to remember that Romans:3:23 says, "All have sinned, come short of the glory of God;" Also Jesus sayed "Come unto me All......

Because only God is perfect, churches are made up with people and people are not perfect. Some churches are hypocritical and judgemental and make all the rest of the mistakes/sins the rest of the public does.
There ARE churches that allow homosexuals, other nationalities, or people with other beliefs to come in and worship. Not all Christians are narrow minded.

Your are right. It is illogical. Gay people should also go to church and pray for forgiveness and help. Unfortunately there are a lot of very uninformed Christians around who are reluctant to think. It's a shame really.

Some churches do that because right now it's people are running paranoid - and it's the 'in' thing to have issues with homosexuality.
For the record - anyone is invited to our service - we're all a bunch of sinners anyway. If my foul mouth (and the Lord is helping me with that) is allowed in, I can't really complain about anyone else.

You don't need a church as a place to pray for your sins. You can do that in your bedroom or in your kitchen as far as that goes.

Jesus said, "wherever two or more are gathered in My name, there I am in the midst of you." If you cannot go to church, find another person to pray with you.
