My ideal resolution that I like is:
http://www.apple.com/displays/specs.html
But it doesn't work as a TV.
I couldn't really find any HD TV more than 1366 x 768 res. so I don't think it will be so clear to use a HD TV for PC and work on PhotoShop for example.
If go with a TV, which one you would suggest, Sony, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Philips? I prob go with 26" or 32".
Tnx 4 any help n tips

Try NewEgg and compare.

http://www.newegg.com

- type "lcd tv monitor" in the search box
- then click on "LCD TV"

They show these:
TOSHIBA 20HLV86 Gray 20" 16:9 HD MONITOR LCD TV/DVD - Retail $699.99

SAMSUNG LN-S2652D White 26" 16:9 8ms Widescreen LCD TV - Retail $1,059.99

In general, I don't see watching TV and using it for your computer. That seems a bit silly. I would buy a darn good LCD monitor for the computer AND a separate AWESOME HDTV. But that's me.

I recomend Sony's Bravia or Toshiba WL66E. Philips Pixal Plus Technology is great. However, it's 2nd generation Pixal Plus 2 produces "unreal" motion artifacts. Now new Philips model came with Pixal Plus 3. Not sure about the 3rd generation Pixal Plus as I haven't buy the new issue of "What Video". Panasonic's LCD is up to the standard too. Samsung and LG LCDs aren't that great...

Plasma is the in ordinary words thanks to bypass for gaming. Get a 40 2" 1080p Plasma by using Panasonic, its the smallest they make, with a fifteen.8 GBps or more beneficial move cost HDMI cable. Panasonic offered Pioneer's panel technologies even as they went out of organisation. Plasmas haven't got that reveal burn difficulty any extra both. Plasmas have 0.00001ms or some thing like that pixel reaction, and real 600hz refresh cost. (six hundred photos in accordance to 2d). undergo in ideas, your taking a million,920 pixels by using 1 million,080 pixels and putting them on a reveal, the bigger the reveal, the bigger the pixels are transforming into. Stretching the photo, for this reason supplying you with a fuzzier photo. The rumors that its all about viewing distance, reaction 5ms reaction time television's being adequate, that the human eye can not detect some thing previous 60 HZ are comments from retards. I actually have examined many television's, and the transformations are wide, there is an really significant vast difference between 2ms and 1ms reaction time video reveal instruments. the difficulty with 240hz and 120hz television's is its all photo processing and creates a honest quantity of enter lag and unnatural move. liquid crystal reveal's are undesirable for gaming, no count number number what the refresh cost or pixel reaction time and could continually wade through from action blur, very significant in first human being shooter video games, the history receives very distorted whenever you bypass. in case you want a small reveal, benefit may be an really sharp photo and a lot less money, get a Samsung 2770FH reveal screen, its a 27", with a 10.2 GBps move cost HDMI cable, and be particular to set the reaction time placing to fastest. they're a 1ms pixel reaction time reveal screen, 60hz it quite is ps3's community output refresh cost, and the reason pixel reaction is significant is because the decrease the reaction time, the sharper the photo continues to be. Get information superhighway it quite is a minimum of one million mega byte receive speed, and continually set although reveal you get to recreation mode.

I use a 55" plasma TV for a PC monitor, it works, but you can't have the PC video resolution any higher than 1024 x 768, unless you don't want to be able to read any text. Not sure about Mac resolutions...
