Everyone has their own slang and accent, so I wouldn't worry about it. I was really taken aback when I visited Texas though. Everyone really does say "y'all"... my roommate from Louisiana did too. I thought it was just a southern American stereotype, that was like "eh" in Canada. I'm Canadian and I don't know anybody who actually says that.

I'm from the midwest and say "y'all" sometimes, because it's easier than saying "you all" or "you guys" or whatever. But the accent and use of "yunto" could definetely seperate yourself from those who don't use them, so I'd say yes.
