I am sick and tired of people telling me I don't know what I am talking about because I choose to have a higher power. I am tired of people saying I am trying to force my beliefs on them. We are supposed to provide information to those who are ignorant of the Lords words. But if someone would ask "Where's the weed at, the crack, the coke, etc?" I guess they expect me to answer. Right? Right...But if I asked "Have u thanked God for waking u up today?" They wouldn't answer because you know they didn't. "Have u thanked God for all the things u DO have instead of complaining about all the things u don't have?" U know the answer for that one as well. Or my fav. "When was the last time u called on God just to call on him without asking for something?" Why is it that people only seem to call upon Him when thay need something? Don't u realize that everything the BIBLE talks about is true? That all this destruction taking place in this world is happening for a reason?

"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."

And as for the others who have responded to this question, you may not belive in Satan, but he sure does belive in you, and as long as you refuse to acknowlege him, he has you right where he wants you, no matter how Moral you think you are.

"Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

There is one way to heaven, all others lead to hell, not my words, not my belief, just the plain simple truth, belive it, or don't, but on the day of judgement don't say you weren't warned.

Because the devil has everything most people want dangling in front of their very eyes, and some people are not strong enough, or have enouogh will power to resist the temporary carat. Some also were not blessed with the knowledge of knowing their true father, which their parents will be responsible for when the day comes. I thanked my father yesterday after viewing my life in another aspect, which was a man I am not in love with compared to what troubles I am facing now which are pretty great! You know what I could take care of most of these troubles with the man I am not in love with. But I thank God that I dont and that I am living my life in the now even if I cant pay my rent next month and eating is tight. :) Looking at that picture of the man I completely do not have anything for was completely scarier!

You've asked several questions here, but I will only answer the first one. I don't choose to follow "the devil in all his destruction" because I do not believe the entity of Satan even exists. I'm not criticizing you for your belief -- we are ALL entitlted to our own beliefs without being criticized one way or the other.

However, I never have, and never will, believe in the existance of a "devil" or Satan. It's just not part of my belief system. However, I do agree with you that it's better to follow an honest/moral/caring way of life, than a destructive/selfish/evil one, that's for sure!! That's something I think everyone can agree upon, regardless of what their faith might or might not be. :)

The devil, no doubt. he's a a lot nicer guy. study the bible and do a body count number - murders by using god, or on god's orders, distinctive thousands of thousands. Murders by using devil, 8 (On god's training, as a chance!) and understand that when there changed into conflict in heaven, 1 / 4 of all angels got here out on the devil's area - they ought to have prevalent some thing!

God doesn't exist. Seriously, what is wrong with you? It doesn't take but an iota of common sense to realize that religion is nothing more than an institution fabricated by human beings in order to: 1. fufill the innate desire to have faith in an omnipotent being, and 2. maintain order in societies. Think about it. For as long as humans have been cognizant of their existence there has been a form of religion. Throughout history the dominant belief structure has evolved from polytheism (Greek, Roman, and Egyptian religion) to state-sponsored religion in Europe and the modern concept of Christianity. Clearly nothing is the Bible is true, seeing as science and empirical evidence show that creationism and other such nonsense are completely illogical. What's even worse than the arrant ignorance of those who have faith in a higher power, is the fact that many of you people feel as though they are entitled to having the moral highground in all situations because your priest (a human being) told you that your blind faith in God is right and true. There's nothing worse than a self-righteous hypocrite who thinks that one must have faith in a god in order to be a good and righteous person. I don't believe in god and I am more compassionate, generous, and humble than any "follower of Christ" I know. My advice to you is to grow up and accept the fact that after we die, it's over and we cease to exist, and that it's a shame that you and so many others need the promise of a rewarding afterlife in order to be a good person.

I frankly don't find much difference b/w God and satan in that sense. Satan tempts you with pleasures in this life, and God promises you 74 virgins or whatever your chosen faith describes "heaven" as. The point is, God is like a cheque you don't know might bounce. IIt is like the WMDs athey never found in Iraq.

God tempts you with pleasure in your afterlife, while Devil offers you similarthings Right here right now.

God rarely wakes you up, better use your alarm clock.

And if God wants really wants atombombs dropped or planes crashing into thousands of people, I don't really feel like thanking him for waking me up to watch the inferno. Thankfully hedidn't, although theNewschannels didn't air anything but reports of corpses and death all around. I wonder how many of the innocent people who die violent deaths, boys who are sodomised by priests, and women who are raped really thank God for waking them up.

We need to stop blaming God for every cruelty, and tragedy that we force upon others. Nor should all our good actions be governed by our wish to go to heaven. Better not do the right thing, if you don't have the right reason.

And what sort of a sadistic God would burn all nice and honest people for eternity in hell, simply because they don't believe in him/her? Or do you also feel that all Qafirs are evil ,incapable of being humane and should be force-converted or killed?

They,in mans sinfulness chose the easiest way. Like if you were to do something wrong would it be easier to lie and say you did not do it or would it be easier to tell the truth and take the punishment? If we lie then we would be out of trouble for the minute but not in the long run. Those who tell the truth no matter what the punishment will fare better in the long run, because in the long run we ALL have to answer to God for our sins. Those who always took the easy road and never asked for Gods forgiveness will spend eternity in the fiery depths of hell, unlike those who made the harder choice and answered for their sins and asked for Gods forgiveness.

dont you realize we dont want to be sold jesus? talk to your god.... quit shoving down our throats as if we will all of a sudden say ..."ahhhh....now i get it" it sounds like you do force your beliefs...and that is what is wrong with religion....believe...or i will make your ears bleed till you do. if you choose to have a higher power... have at it.. but keep it to your self and the rest of the people like you that believe the world is only 2000 yrs old and there were never dinosaurs...etc..
i reply because i want you to know that your religion is dieing... it is... just like zeus, thor, ra, isis, hercules, ..etc. because its all a way to empower the the snakes in our world to control the sheep to support their lavish lifestyles...build bigger churches and then have their "flock" raped by the trusted....so read your bible... pray quietly...and wait for your apocolyspe
i am not blinded by my sin.... but how is it im a better man(atheist) than the almost every religious person i know?
why? because you people will rob cheat steal 6 days a week and go to church on sunday and pray i dont get it back. the zealots like your self are the worst.... because if we opened up your mind for all to see...and the people like you....i bet we would see how... "unchristian" you actually are.

Because some people like mystery and intrigue and the dark side. They like challenges and it could possibly be a turn on. Maybe reverse psychology. If someone keeps pushing mainstream religion, then they might want to rebel and explore the other side.
