I have noticed alot of Christians who state they do not try to convert others or who even get angry at those of us who share our faith with non believers. Are you ashamed of Jesus? Why not try to win others for him? Did he not tell us to go and preach the gospel?

Mark 8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

We as Christians are suposed to deny ourselves for the service of God. The little shame or embarassment that may come with spreading the gospel is nothing compared to what the disciples faced years ago. We should be proud of our belief and have faith in the power of God. The bible said don't be conformed to the things of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Renew your mind with the word of God and be strong in his word.
Stop denying Christ, he did not deny you

I do share my faith with others as Jesus told us to do at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. I am proud to be called a Jehovh Witness

You can share your faith, but be prepared to be rejected over and over again. You have to lead the non believers to Jesus, and not force it on them. No one is denying Christ. All you are to do is plant the seed of God's word, and the Holy Spirit does it's job the rest of the way. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. You can try to force Christanity on someone and loose them for good, just because they don't convert when you want them to.

I am a Christian, and I do share the Lord's word with others. Don't be so pushy and judgemental just because things don't go the way you think they should go. Eveything is controlled by God. If you were way too pushy in your witnessing, and you lost a soul becasue of that, what will you say to God when He asks you why you tried to push them to Him and not lead them? He wants people to want to be with HIm and not be with him because someone had their arm twisted behind their backs so to speak.
God will ask that of you about your attitude.

IF you really wanted to show a lost person the way to Jesus, he first must see Him in you, in how you treat others by not bashing them with the word of God. There is a right way to witness to people and a wrong way, and you are going about it all wrong. You can't cram it down people's throats.

Calm down when you are witnessing and stop slinging accusations at other Christians. God does not want us to witness for Him like that. I am a Christian and I take great offence at your approach, and I'm sure it doesn't impress the nonbelievers either. That is no way to get their attention.

Respectefully
Carol

I try to convert people, and I'm a strong supporter of the believers. Many of the Christians may think that trying to convert people may make them mad or make them less opt to convert. You're right, but I don't think a person is going to change the way they think just because you tell them other. Yes, Christ did not deny us, and I will never deny him. If you want to be the best Christian/Catholic you can be, I would suggest you don't deny Christ either. I really hope this was helpful to you.

I would love to share my faith with everyone. Most of the time though people don't want to hear it. I have made it know that I am a Christian and if people are interested I will happily talk their ear off about the Lord and the Bible. But I'm not one to force my beliefs on someone else. I don't appreciate when other denominations do it to me so I won't do it to them.

I hope a time never comes where I deny Christ as did St. Peter; if it were to come to that, may I quickly go to him and beg forgiveness and mercy as St. Peter also did.

I do volunteer work with a group where we do take to the streets and work with women who suffer from addiction as we believe, fully, that it is only with Jesus' love that they will truly recover from a life of addiction.

Many Christian I have spoken to are frightened and scared to bring the word of Jesus to others, understandably so as we do meet with adversity and have difficulties - but Jesus warned us that we would. As Christians, it is our obligation to share his word with others and to help them find their way to him.

He stated that we would be hated as he is, but our reward is in heaven not on earth. Many Christians have found too much 'reward' in earthly, secular things, and believe that just living a good life is enough. Jesus has stated it is not - we must proclaim his word to the nations. He was persecuted, his Apostles were persecuted, as have his followers been, but again, our rewards will not be found here on earth, but in the place he has prepared for us.

God bless you.

I share my faith but I am not screaming it on the street because it makes people think it is a ridiculous. I will bring it up occassionally but if I feel like a person is getting annoyed I don't shove it down their throat. People will come around when its their turn.

I love Jesus with all my heart. I love G-- with all my heart.

I have seen Jesus.

Now, G-- has revealed the anti-christ to me.

I will have to write a book about it, for people will not believe me. I have seen with my eyes, heart, mind, and by the grace of G--

This is no joke. G-- is my shield, strength, and my love. I only do this for G--'s glory and Jesus' victory soon
