By that same token I'd like to thank the faithful. Whenever I read an answer and realize that in the twenty-first century there are still people who need the approval of an imaginary being and rely on superstition instead of critical thinking to form their conclusions I am reminded how lucky I am to have escaped their system and accompanying worldview.
Every time I see a response that eschews reason I get stronger in my lack of faith.
Frankly, the inconsistency, contradiction, and brutality of religion is the best promotion that atheism could ever ask for.

I'm sorry to hear that you believe the religious faithful actually 'answer' any questions posed to them. The religious avoid, side-step, dismiss, and mis-answer all of the difficult questions posed to them. All logic stops with them and they seem proud of it.
I can talk any religious person to a place where they will be stumped, confuse what I'm saying and answer with some completely inappropriate explanation, and use some answer like, 'you just have to have faith' or 'because I feel it'. They seem proud to ask how a world such as ours can exist without a higher being, but when I ask why a higher being, which is so much more than this world can exist without a creator himself, they have no answer.
Saying, 'he doesn't need a creator', is not an answer. Saying he is 'all-powerful' doesn't answer it. Saying 'he was and always shall be' doesn't answer it, either.
It's like me saying I'm the King of Tarbondia, a world in the recesses of the Kartana galaxy. With the 'logic' of the religious faithful, I have just as much reason as they do to think that.
A lot of people feel in their souls that they were some famous person in a past life. A lot of people feel in their souls that the government is out to get them. A lof of people believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that Michael Jackson was innocent and OJ Simpson was guilty. They believe it so strongly, they'd probably get very upset and cry or angry and violent if you told them otherwise. And, there's people who believe the exact opposite and will react just as strongly.
What this proves - and science and the study of human behavior is great for this - is that people can have 'faith' and 'feel' anything for no good reason whatsoever. There is only one truth when it comes to religion.
That is that, since the beginning of written history, human beings have created stories to describe the things around them that they did not understand and to create purpose. Dragons. Gods. The Earth being the center of the Universe.
Whoever claimed that, by people talking about God not existing, it actually proves it is a real novice in thought. Spend a lot more time actually using your brain please and using reason. A lot of people talk about aliens. Many years ago, many people talked about dragons. Talking about something that doesn't exist doesn't prove its existence. It proves that people create fantastic ideas that aren't real.
People view Science as the enemy. But, science was created to find proof of God. It was created to observe what actually existed in the world. Sadly, for the blind, what it did was build innumerable piles of evidence proving that God's existence is no more plausible than the non-existence. But, more than that, it is proving that these stories that people believe, wrought with love and compassion - but also hate, slavery, killing, have been created since the beginning of documentable human history.
Since they cannot all be right. It proves that people have made them up in incredible amounts and at incredible lengths. And, religion has been at the heart of nearly every, if not every, massacre and war and injustice in the history of the world. Moments of love and wonder are no excuse for the things that people ignore.
I know what it means to have open eyes. Because my eyes were closed all of my life. I was ignorantly blissful. And, then I was exposed to the true nature of religion. It's bias. It's hate. It's side that people justify as morality.
And, you know what? It didn't change my belief. I still believed. But, slowly, I noticed that when other people talked, I finally listened. I didn't dismiss it. I imagined. I connected with my passion and my heart and I found it... love. Truth.
Until I truly opened my eyes, I didn't know my eyes were closed. Blind faith is not open eyes. And, anyone who believes in God - especially in man-made fables - is blind. I know from experience. I know from wisdom. I know because I've always had this great ability to understand people and unique creative vision into emotions and the mind.
Keep searching. The agnostics and atheists of the world have the toughest time in this world. We need you to open your eyes, please. The world needs love before we destroy ourselves.
PS: Scifiguy. You're gonna love this response to your post. I'll post it before anyone else can.

It is amazing isnt it...I think when a non believer spends so much time testifying about God...How much more that proves he exist...If we believers were unbelievers you would think we would spend our precious short life eating, drinking and making merry for all we are in the end is dead....the reason a non-believer would spend so much time researching and preaching is either because he is searching or he is being led by a spirit to preach against what is holy either is an arguement in favor of God.

Since you love questions about religion, here's another one for you:
According to the Bible, God has changed radically in the past few thousand years. At first, he was someone who condemned generations of people to hell for the sins of their ancestors and no fault of their own. Now, he is willing to accept anyone into heaven regardless of their actions in life as long as they worship him and ask for forgiveness in the last moments before they die.
If God is prone to such dramatic mood swings in such a relatively short period, why would you honestly wish to spend eternity in his presence? How can you be sure that he won't revert to his former vengeful self?

I can never understand atheists/agnostics. How can anyone truly not believe that everything on this earth was not created from a higher being. The human race is not a coincidence! I cannot thank atheists for thinking this.

You're welcome!
After all, is not asking questions a way to the truth?
I really don't have any problem with those who differ from my beliefs, only those who are hypocritical in the applications of their own and refuse to acknowledge my right to free will.

That's great. I can see your point, and maybe you're right. I personally am also a child of God, and I support believing in him.

Good point, I think they force us Christians to open our bible and start reading more. It has encouraged me to seek God more deligently and try to better understand his word.
