Lets say you make an appointment for a doctor for a check up for 1:30 you get there and wait until 2:30 before your even called in. Then you wait in a little room for 30 minutes ......... now its 3:00. The good doctor finally comes in does his thing. Then you go to the nurses desk and wait another 15 minutes for them to finish you up and get your perscription. Now its 3:30!!

You make an appointment to service your car at the dealer and get new brakes. You bring your car in on your lunch break for a 1:00 appt. You rush over to pick up your car after work before the place closes. Your car is still up on the rack and the mech. tells you the girl at the front desk made a mistake and your car won't be ready until tomorrow. These people have no respect for how valuble your time is and I think they should ..........DIE!!

You are paying them!! For a service!! They should pay you for every minute of your life they waste!!

It happens to everyone. It happened to me. I go at 2pm right on the dot. I get to see the doctor at 3.30pm!!!!!! and he does his thing taking only about 5minutes in all. Why have the appointment time at all?

I think you pretty much answered your own question....They have no respect for you and your time ..just because that doctor knows that if you don't make an appointment or chose to go somewhere else there are plenty of other pinheads out there that are wiling to have their dignity trampled. There is nothing you can do really...it's either wait or suffer from what ever kind of sickness you have

The same thing was happening to me at my clinic. I wrote a letter complaining about the wait when I was on time for my app't. I said my time was valuable to me, and that I had to take time off from work for it. Sometimes they just need to be woke up. Write the head a letter. I usually schedule the first app't of the afternoon so I'm there on time, and don't have to wait so long.

both situations are very similar - i'll tell you how - when someone comes in with their vehicle & the problem is " squeak from rear end " how do you schedule an appropriate amount of time for that repair - could be several different things causing that noise - could take anywhere from 30 min - 3hours to fix once problem has been diagnosed - same thing with a dr. when someone comes in with a squeak in their rear end ? sorry that's life !

Send them a bill. How much an hour is your time worth? If nothing else, it will give them a wakeup call.
