Italian. I've had French food in Paris and Italian food in Rome. Both were good, but goat cheese on bread was a little bad-tasting to me.
In Roma, `we went to a genuine Italian restraunt with and man with a gutair and a woman who sang while we ate. The Italians appetizers weren't too good, but we got 3 courses of pasta (one was made with cheese, one with sauce, and the third was more plain), and the dessert was excellant. A five-course meal! They really keep the food coming.

Of the two, Italian. So much flavor, freshness, and love goes into the preparation. Food is such a huge part of Italian culture. I love it!
Nothing against French food.
