So many people worship so many dead people. They may be saints within the Catholic church, Buddha who died and was then just gone, ancestors who were struggling through life like the rest of us, pagan gods of the elements that no one has seen, 100's of gods of the Hindu who have never been seen. Jesus rose again from the dead and appeared to over 500 people, can anyone else lay that claim?

I assume you don't mean to lie to make your point (since you are a Chirstian and all...) so I have a suggestion for you-
before spouting bullcrappy about other religions, why not know what you are talking about?
This is a good expample of why a lot people take offense to Christians- ignorance and intolerance toward other religions.

If rising from the dead establishes you as a deity, consider Osiris, Mithra, and Maasaw, the Hopi god. And Jesus never said he was God, but Moses did. See Deuteronomy 29:6. The church deified Jesus through its interpretation of the Gospels.

Only humans /pagans would associate Jesus as a deity. He's higher than that...The only one that would supersede his "deity" would be his father-GOD, the original creator, remember he sent Jesus in his place here on earth, this world is too dirty for him to walk around in-even 5000 years ago...

Many people say he never died at all. Some say it was another person who was crucified. Many say he never even existed.
What kind of god forget to make minor corrections in biblic theories as about when the world was really created?
