I have a 1987 VW Jetta GLi 16v. I've owned 5 Mk2 (1985-1992) Volkswagens and one Mk3 (1993-1999) VW and know them inside and out, just don't always have time to work on mine and fix a few of the things that could use fixing. If anyone has any ideas for a good, reasonable, independent (non-chain, non-dealer) VW mechanic somewhere South of Boston, MA, please post!

To find a quality mechanic, I suggest getting firsthand recommendations, so you probably want to try contact Volkswagen Clubs or attending VW events around your area.
