It most likely has a corporation name which says something like , 'Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church Dallas Corporation'. That name change goes through normal legal procedures.

The name on the building has to be changed with the local ordinary and standing committee. ( the bishop). You can look up the local canon law by asking the canon to the ordinary in your diocese.

And, it won't happen...not right now in these times.

why would it want to? They would have to petition the archbishop to take it up at the next general meeting of archbishops.
