What is your favorite mission organization or outreach? Who do you support and why?

The most amazing one I have found is Gospel For Asia. I had not heard of them until recently but it turns out they are one of the largest missionary organizations in the world. What I like best about them is that every single dollar I give to support missionaries goes to the missionaries. The staff at GFA all have to raise their own support. Not one penny of what I send for the mission work goes anywhere else. I just find that so refreshing.

They have a free book that they will give you if you ask for it. Reading it changed my views on mission work and how it should be done, or rather on how it must be done. Check it out and tell me what you think.

May the Grace of our Lord be with you, now and always, may you stay blameless until He returns.

I hear ya, we support both missionaries and bridge of hope children. GFA is a fantastic outreach and they've set up a very nice homepage for allowing people to get involved. Focus on the family is run with integrity and they have stayed true to their calling for many years as well.

Gospel Outreach, out of Tupelo, Ms., does the same. 100% of what I sent to the mission field gets there. About 4 times a year I will send a donation for the operation of the office.

Moody bible college

Moody has a website, would have to do a search for it, not on the top of my head.

They offer online classes absoluely free, you must buy your books or borrow them from someone that has purchased them, but what other college reaches out to train Missionaries, Pastors, teachers in this way?

They support radio programs to spread the word and so much more.
A great mission envisioned by D. L. Moody, that lives on today.

"Now over 25 years old, Gospel for Asia supports more than 16,000 missionaries working in some of the neediest Asian countries--primarily in the 10/40 Window"

I find this hard to believe. I have never come across one in my mission work.

Development and Peace helps people in Africa, Asia and Latin America work together to fight poverty and improve living conditions for their families.

Since 1996, Agape Street Ministries, a Catholic street ministry focusing on the downtown eastside area of Hastings and Cordova, have reached out specifically to the prostitutes – the “working women of the street”. Through encounters with Agape Street Ministries, they learn that Jesus loves them, and that He is the Way, and the Truth and the Life. He is the only real way to freedom from drug addiction and sexual sin. They also have two recovery houses for women recovering from addictions.

My two favourites!

God bless you!!

Do me a favor would you? Take your hand and stretch it out in front of you, back side up. Do your fingers curve upward? If they do, it shows you how gullible you are. The reason Russia failed as a Communist country was because their finances failed them, not because other humans like yourself imagined that by sending them money, this would stop them from thinking mankind has solutions without Gods guidance. Get over yourself.

The following passage describes the sickening practice of sex slavery. How can anyone think it is moral to sell your own daughter as a sex slave? No, it is not. Fit for perverts and fangsters.

(Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.
