If it's not a religion, then it really comes close, or is a major tenant of a religion itself.
Any time you address, where you came, (where you're going) and how you got here, that's what religions typically do. If that explanation is evolution, then how you feel about yourself, others, and your prospects for a future are GREATLY affected.
Secular humanism / practical atheism (practicing everyday that God is not relevant) / evolution, - they are the Trinity for THEIR religion.
BTW: Evolutionism takes a lot of faith for a "goo-to-you" mentality, -for something they've never seen, and a concept that boggles any rational mind. Not even how the first one-celled critter even got started!

No, I don't believe it is a religion because it doesn't involve a god, but I do believe to takes more faith to believe in the claims of evolution, than in a Creator.

evolution is science. Religion is the fear of death, and hoping there is something better.

No, because it meets none of the requirements of the noun version of "religion"
I assume you mean that variety of religion, rather than "anything persued with zeal"...

Any system of belief is by definition an act of faith regardless of the underlying conceptual arguments.
