OK, lets say your female friend really liked you as more than a friend and flirts with you a little. How would be the best way to tell you... what would you think would be perfect to do? He knows me better than i know myself, and he is everything anyone could want in a guy, he's sweet and smart and all around wonderful! so how should i (very shy girl who doesnt want to ruin the friendship) tell him all of that... what exactly should i do! im usually the answerer not the asker but i really need a guys perspective on all of this...

Sweetheart, if you care for him you should tell him how you feel. The way that you go about this is up to you. However there are some tips that could help. It could be that he has never made a move on you because he has never considered you in this light. Get to talking to him sometime about romance and the future etc. Find out what he wants from a woman, be sure to talk about yourself when talking about romance, because he will automatically think about you and a relationship. Then you should say to him that you want to tell him somthing that is important. Tell him that you like him and would like to explore the possibility of being more than friends. Be prepared for him to say no, but he may just say yes. And if he spends as much time with you as he must to "know you better than you know yourself" then he will probably say yes. Just be direct and tell him in private. Tell him how much you appreciate his friendship, and what you like about him. Guys tend to either overlook or misinterpret hints. If you two are pretty close as friends, it shouldn't affect the friendship.

Jasmine, if it were me, I would like her to be honest with me and tell me how she feels. I know its not easy (you being shy and all), but if he's that good of a friend he won't do anything to make you feel uncomfortable.
Maybe, just set it up to where you and him are alone and just talking, and in a subtle way just casually bring it up. No risk, no reward!! Good Luck.

In your question you said he knows you better than you know yourself, if this is true then just ahead and tell him because by your actions he already has a clue in what is going on. Your telling him would probably be icing on the cake and just what he is waiting for .
