Why is the cuse word considered a sin? Why did we make cuse words? I think that words like sh** or f**k is just words until you put them into a sentence that shows the what you mean. When did the cuse words first exist and how did we find out? I think that its not a sin just for saying them, just how you put them into a sentence.

Think of all the other sins that you could commit besides cussing. There really is no such thing, they ARE just words but society/people decided they were bad, so they are. Just like "ain't"...who decided that wasn't proper grammar?

Some people consider most anything a sin. I don't consider anything a "sin" as, to me, it is an invalid concept that makes no sense.

However if cuse word were a sin it would because it was misspelled. The word is curse or cuss, not cuse.
