If it is not a disease then why cannot all of you believers get along together. If it is not a disease then why do so many suffer in its name?

I take it that you are an Atheist?
Well, through history, you'll notice that during the really bad times, religion flourished. I think it is a way for people to help deal with issues.
There is SCIENTIFIC proof, however, that Jesus and all the apostles were real. Supernatural, sorry, 'unexplainable' things do happen and, I think, religion is a belief that helps explain that and gives hope and faith.
Personally? I just don't know and I do not think anyone does.

I think you are being as bad as what you claim to oppose. For ever finger you point there are several more pointing right back at ya. Personally I am not religious but I have obtained many a wonderful functional idea through studying religion. Remember, even a fool has his story to tell. That means you can learn from any one, or anything, including religion. What you are doing however is polarizing, which accomplishes nothing but disseminating hate and prejudice. I'm sure you'll find you way, eventually.

Why would you call something good a mental disease? If we had no hope for a better life why would there be a reason for anything but selfish living? If there were not a God to welcome us at the end of our journey life would be meaningless - why live?
If there is a basically good instinct in our deepest selves, to love, to give, to sacrifice for something better it is because it is the spark of the goodness of the Almighty Himself who created us and made us to live for goodness, love and peace. You are searching, even if you are unwilling to admit it. Keep searching and you will eventually find the truth.

You certainly have a right to your opinion but I must respectfully disagree. Disease (lack of ease and contentment) is a condition of the soul that is without God, and only religion can cure this by leading the soul to God, who is the fulfillment of all peace and joy and love within each human soul and heart.

the same time that everyone on earth is trippin on acid..... some people donot have the mental depth to deal with the void that used to be filled with something they were used to....
The best way, although, would be to put computers in control of the world, then kill everyone, have the computers destroy all evidence of religions past, and just hope that the thousands of stored human seeds don't possess the geneologic need for a religion.. or a god..... maybe we could fill the void with acid???.....

Once they figure out Jesus was not Religious , He was anointed, and that is what a Christian is. But I wander about those with a lack of supernatural understanding will they every get smart?

I think that to a certain extent, people need to believe in something, even if it is an unexplained miracle every once in a while. However, I do completely agree with you that ignorance and fear are what breed religious worshipping. I think these people are crazy fanatics.
