What is the differnece between bell peppers? Are some colors hotter than others? (Green, orange, red, yellow.)

All Bell Peppers are the same they are just picked at differnt stages depending on the color. Orange and Yellow are the sweetest. Red is a little more mild than the green.

as a rule, bell peppers are not hot. the yellow and orange ones are sweeter, that's all. loaded with Vitamin C.

no, red and yellow bell peppers are just ripe, green ones are not ripe yet, and may not be as sweet.

I find that the colored ones have more of a sweet taste than the green ones.
