Any news of what has been discussed or is occurring in the La Raza meetings this weekend? I consider this group highly "dangerous" to our American way of life because of what they espouse. They are very much like the American Natzi party in their agendas, except the toil for the benefit of Latinos. Tell what you know and how you feel (...should you feel free enough to do so?)

I know nothing, except that our Mayor is probably there....

I'll see what I can find, though....

So far, just this: " In light of the U.S. House of Representatives leadership’s efforts to stall and politicize the push for comprehensive reform – including a set of field hearings beginning this week in San Diego, the news conference will focus on efforts to engage millions of potential new citizens and voters in this debate. Specifically, participants will discuss five ways to solidify and expand the Latino community’s involvement – promoting citizenship; increasing voter registration and mobilization; expanding community mobilization, especially efforts to engage youth in the political process; fostering partnerships with other communities; and engaging in advocacy at the state and local level."

So long as they keep it to legal voters, fine. I think there may well be after the fact sampling of ballots, this time. A lot of people are suspicious about who votes here, particularly since they aren't allowed to require official ID to vote.

La Raza? What color hood do you wear to those b-b-Q's? Should I bring a rope? The KKK is about white pride, the la raza is about taking over America.....sorry I compared the two. Really now I know it seems like you brown pride folks are gittin' it done but your wasting you're time! It could not and will not happen. Keep sending your money to support a bunch of Latino bulls$itters that are living large off your dollar! Come on now. You'll can't take over America any faster than we can load your illegal a$$es up in horse trailers and send you home so get a life!

Well, I feel free enough to express myself on the issue, I think that racism's racism, and if 'la raza' is found to be a racist group, 'por la raza, todo...', then it should be abolished. Americans should step to the street and shout down racism, maybe even come up with some nice numbered charts showing JUST how much money's gone to mexico over the last 30 years. Someone needs to say SOMEthing on the subject, maybe we should start taking up grievance with the mexican government on this...at any rate, it only underscores the fact that the border fence needs to be finished ASAP. Good fences make good neighbors, and right now what we've got with mexico is a MESS.

Presidential Aide Tight With "La Raza"
The president’s top advisor will be a keynote speaker at the annual conference of a renowned extremist Mexican group that organized many of this year’s pro-illegal immigration marches across the country.

Karl Rove will take the podium at next week’s annual National Council of La Raza conference in Los Angeles. He will be joined by the likes of Jesse Jackson, Bill Clinton and L.A.’s self-professed “Chicano” mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa.

The National Council of La Raza describes itself as the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, but the reality is that its so-called La Raza movement is a radical one that preaches the return of the American Southwest to Mexico because in Chicano folklore California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas are in fact Aztlan.

This takeover plan is referred to as the “reconquista” of the Western U.S. and it features ethnic cleansing of Americans, Europeans, Africans and Asians once the area is taken back and converted to Aztlan.

While this may all sound a bit crazy, this organization is quite powerful and annually receives millions of dollars in federal grants. Its leaders also managed to get included in congressional hearings regarding immigration. Last year alone, the National Council of La Raza received $15.2 million in federal grants and an anonymous senator gave the group an extra $4 million in earmarked American taxpayer money.

La Raza's annual conferences are attended by thousands of business owners, government officials and politicians who want to score points with Hispanics. Past “distinguished” speakers include Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Bill Clinton’s scandal-plagued Housing Secretary Henry Cisneros and Attorney General Janet Reno.

I am just amazed at what I learn on this site. The more I learn the more "sick" I become at the state of our Nation! America is already infiltrated by illegals who, by taking to the streets in May, declared their allegiance to Mexico.

What sickens me is the wonder of "is it too late"?

And what will all the illegals do when America is gone, return to the savagery of their ancestors who worshiped the sun and delivered victims to human sacrifices?

Any remembrance of the last moments of "Planet of the Apes" when it was discovered the world had destroyed itself? Will we also have that awful realization when this continues down the road to possible civil war and the destruction of all the good we have built?

Sadly, our hard work, our taxes, our nation is up for financial rape and death..

I HOPE THAT I AM WRONG.........BUT I AM AFRAID THAT THIS IS GOING TO GO DOWN BADLY......

I couldn't find anything about the meeting online, but there is alot about the group. They have actively promoted mass immigration since the '60's.

PS JD I liked your post and link. It went up while I was typing mine. Very scary stuff.
I've heard negative stuff about them for years. They are definitely evil in my opinion.
