Equal has an indefinite shelf life if stored away from heat and humidity. To ensure the highest quality product, all Equal products are now produced with a Best By date stamped on them. The best by date will be 3 years from the date of production for products with aspartame and 2 years for products with acesulfame potassium. Equal Sugar Lite already is stamped with this Best By date.

As long as they didn't get hard inside the package, they're fine. Asparitame doesn't lose its potency unless it gets wet.

nutrasweet loses its sweetness after awhile, so probably not. Open one up and taste it. it shouldn't hurt you, but will taste awful if the sweetness is gone.
