Fossils prove the theory of evolution and tracks the development and growth of the human being as we know of it today. If god exists, why would he place those there?

As what most christians would say, God put fossils on earth to test our faith in him.

God is truth. Why would He ever do that, even if He could? So, logically speaking, God is truth, science strives to the truth, and thus fossils exists as science shows they do. God is not a deceiver.
Now, I must ask you to do one thing. Google "evolution fact or theory". Now although the fossil record exists and is real, and thus, the fact of a natural continuum in species is a fact. There is no proven theory of natural, biological evolution that explains the fossil record. Thus, for all the objective people out there, how the natural continuum happened will be answered by either (1) a proven theory, or (2) a creator.
If you really look at the theory and what it has to answer, how to create a living, conscious human being, then, you will begin to understand that it is very unlikely that a theory of evolution will ever be possible. You will conclude that our existence is impossible without a creator. Who or what that creator is, is a matter of faith.

What fossil evidence are there that proves evolution? No transition fossils have ever been found ; the missing links are still missing. The fossil evidence shows each species fully developed. So the theory fo evolution by gradual change is NOT supported by the fossil evidence. That leaves you with evolution by "punctuated equilibrium", wherein new species suddenly appear due to catastrophes in the natural world. But this cannot work either!!. Macro-evolution is simply a hoax.

No. I'm Muslim, and I believe that the things the fossils show existed, and dinosaurs were before humans, but they don't prove evolution. They found a million year old mosquito that was trapped in tree sap that looks exactly like the ones today. But I do think that Shaytan (Satan, the Devil, Lucifer, wutever else he's called) planted the ideas of evolution in ppl's heads to make it look like God is fooling us.

Because God(dess) does exist, just not in the Christian way. Christians are fooling themselves by thinking evolution didn't happen and that the Earth is a mere 6000 years old. Though, you know what? Whatever they're on, I would like some of. I'd like to live in a fantasy world for a little while.

No, fossils are from a time before God, if God wrote the Bible (or had some one write it from his being) then he would have known about the Dinosaurs he surely would have mentioned them. He created everything, right? You forget the Bible is only 2 thousand years old. The Jewish calendar is over 5 thousand year old.

Fossils are made when a living thing dies and is buried by mud, silt, volcanic ash, or sand.
So God may have put things on the Earth that formed rocks and then were imprinted with something, but he didn't put fossil on the Earth.

Fossils prove no evolution, that is why there is a "MISSING LINK." There is no proof in the fossil record showing that anything evolved.
