My friend lives in Georgia, she has had her green card for almost 5 years. I know that there is a web site where you can print out application forms, does anybody know the link?
How about the question sheets for the test?Study book?
What about info to fill out the papers? What do you need?
She understands English pretty good, and have friends with language if needed.

she can certainly apply citizenship if she already have her green card.tell her to look at her green card aInd it should state the date when it was issued to her. then 5 yrs. from taht date she can apply for citizenship.
take note that if she got her green card through marriage she can apply citizenship for 3 yrs.

go to www.uscis.gov and click on fees & forms

she needs to send the fee along with all the stated requirements.

You can also call 202-512-1800 and ask to send you the sample questioneer for citizenship.

I have one but it's all simple questions like how many stars in the flag etc..but she might need to study it if she doesn't know a little bit history about the US . she shouls also know the current governor and senators in the state where she lives.

to fill out papers u just need to read and answer it using a pen! duh!
if she can read and understand english pretty good then she shouldn't have any problem.

take note that they do background check so tell her to make sure she should be honest in all her answers. Send along all the required documents and keep calling INs for follow up!

goodluck

i don't think you can do that without a lawyer and it's not that easy. think of how many millions of people are trying to apply for citizenship, if it was that easy -- then there wouldn't be any undocumented immigrants here.

keep in mind, that there are a bunch of cons (lawyers) who rip people off and not give what they want. the demand for citizenship is so high, some people actually trick other people for it.

well, if it works for you, then good for you.
