No I'm in Canada and there's a number of small dairy's that make better I myself make a better Home-made Ice-cream, but if you are in Ontario and can get Kawartha Dairy Ice-Cream out of Bobcageon or Stoney Creek or even Nestle Real Dairy , all of which are richer tasting at a lower price, incidentally the words Haagen-Dazs have no meaning and are only a promotional ploy to make you think its german so it must be good and if they had an englishman selling it, you'd buy it.

Yup. Haagen Dazs is the best. I am addicted to coffee Haagen Dazs... especially after an ugly day!

I laughed so hard at Cameron Diaz' scene in "Out Of Her Shoes" when she is standing in front of the fridge with a pint of Haagen Dazs and she says, "I love you, Haaggy." Been there. :-)

I guess none of you have ever tasted Italian ice cream, then...

The best that I have ever, ever had was from a little corner shop in my mother's home town in Scotland... a lot of Italian POW's were placed there during WW2, some of them liked it and stayed.. one of them, Umberto Caffola, opened an ice cream parlour... :-)

I'd have to say no,,, Lady Godiva makes the best if you are a chocolate lover :) Blue Bunny is also excellent ...they carry the best banana split ice cream I've ever tasted! Beware, don't buy it if you are dieting because you can't stop with one byte :)

It's really go, don't get me wrong, but I can enjoy Blue Bell or the local grocer's brand about the same as Haagen-Dazs.
