There are no verses that state that it is impossible to live in sin after accepting Christ, but there are verses in James directed to Christians on how they should live (as there are in other books of the New Testament, as well). Here is a portion:
James 2:1-17
1My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism. 2Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet," 4have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
5Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong?
8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself,"[a] you are doing right. 9But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"[b] also said, "Do not murder."[c] If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
12Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!
Faith and Deeds
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Sadly we are imperfect even after accepting Jesus as our Savior. What God and Jesus want is that when we sin, that we be GENUINELY sorry for it, not think "well, i'll sin, then be sorry." The Bible says that our prayers our not heard if we haven't "softened Gods face" (1 Sam. 13:12 & Dan. 9:13) and "soften our own Heart before God" by accepting humbly that we are responsible for our sins in humility, repentance and contrition. (2 Chron. 34:26-28; Ps. 51:16, 17; 119:58) then by being genuinely and HONESTLY sorry in our hearts, God will remove the "cloud like mass that blocks prayer from him" (Lamentations 3:40-44) and your prayer will be acceptable to his ears and you can attain forgiveness. Though your prayers "may" be heard by God, he doesn't have to act of them if your not living or following his counsel (1 Peter 3:7) and those seeking forgiveness for themselves must first be forgiving toward others (Matthew 6:14, 15; Mark 1:25; Luke 11:4).
Hope this helps.

When God sent his Son to die on the cross, Jesus died for all the worlds sins. All we have to do is accept what Jesus did and become born again Christians. Once we got saved our sins are gone. As far as the east is from the west they shall be forgotten. I am covered in His blood. When God looks down on me His sees His Sons blood that covered my sins.. Notice I keep saying sins. Now that I am a child of the King I have no sin cause they have been forever covered in His blood, past present and future. I am not saying that gives us a right to go live in sin cause that aint what a true believer will do. We still must ask forgiveness and ask help to overcome that one sin that maybe keeps us from fully serving God. After salvation comes works, and the works are for crowns, and rewards. I will not be judged on sin cause God done covered that when I got saved,

Ok, well I have a couple:
2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away from the new"
Rom. 12:1-2: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, whis is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Please there will be sin in your life regardless of weather you accept Christ or not. Jesus didn't die for your sins either... Remember a little fact from the OT about the Jews being chosen? They were chosen to live/exist in repentance for the sins of humanity. Not only that it's blastphemy to place Christ ahead of GOD (if there is one). Why is it that all Christians seem to place more faith in a MAN than in GOD? Christ was a man...great teacher...ahead of his time...but a man nothing more. Not worthy of such high esteem. PEACE AND GOOD WILL BE WITH YOU!

Ex 21:20-21
20 When a slave-owner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. 21But if the slave survives for a day or two, there is no punishment; for the slave is the owner’s property
1Tim 2:11-1211Let a woman* learn in silence with full submission. 12I permit no woman* to teach or to have authority over a man;* she is to keep silent.
Deut 25:11-12
11 If men get into a fight with one another, and the wife of one intervenes to rescue her husband from the grip of his opponent by reaching out and seizing his genitals, 12you shall cut off her hand; show no pity.

1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears,[1][[2] Or when it is made known] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.
