Have you tried an anti-fungal cream (like what you would put on athlete's foot)? If you have some around, it's worth a try. If it improves, it was a fungal infection. If not, you might need to go to a doctor. It could be eczema. It could be some other kind of infection. The doctor can best determine what to treat it with.

anti-fungal cream instead! moisturizers will not help, as u now know!

see a dermatologist. they're pretty awesome with skin.
