If Amnesty is awarded 20mil illegals, what message is being sent to Americans about they're laws?

What I mean is: If our government gives an estimated 20 million illegals Amnesty, what message is the government sending to the American people in reference to our country's laws.

I would like some real answers because I intend on sending this question to every congressmen in each state.

And when answering please keep in mind there have already been two previous amnesty bills, that were the direct result of our current situation.

The message they would be sending if granting Amnesty would be--- our laws are worthless. That law breakers should be rewarded. That poor morals are just fine.
That they are not representing the majority of the people. That they are a government that is corrupt. That the poor here mean nothing as our benefits and hospitals and schools are failing due to the mass coming it and who came in. That the government are traitors to the people here. That the Government is failing to provide security when they can but won't. That the government doesn't care about health screening to protect the people here. That we have no strong Leaders-just greedy and selfish ones who will not take a firm stand for the people here. That they are not doing the job that they are suppose too. That they are full of excuses with a lack of true reasoning power. That they are cowards not to stand up each other. Spineless wimps. That they are becoming more corrupt each year and the majority know it. They need to spend a week in our slums (in every city) and tell them why this is a good plan-and I would like 24 hour feed on their experience.

It is a good question. However, if I may interject, I believe your question should read: What message is the government sending to the people around the world who apply for US Citizenship?

It is unfair for a person who lives in Eastern Europe and waits 17-20 years of his/her life to live LEGALLY in the US. Illegal Mexicans don't understand that. I have spoken to some of them, and they think about themselves and they don't care about other people's suffering and plights to try cross the border. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

The message the Government is sending to the American people if they grant the Amnesty is our laws are meant to be broken without any consequence. It would leave the State Department with its hands tied, because what do you do when people from 185 countries apply because they also want their share of the American Dream?

it's politics -- both parties don't really care about what's going to happen in the country -- they just want to score more votes. keep in mind this has happened in the past -- and look what happened? even more people came in here with no documentation. if this was given to all of them, then they (undocumented) would think that it's ok to keep hoping for another amnesty. i think they should be selective of who to give it to. some people are just here to take advantage -- i see people with no documentations who are just lying around not doing anything, and they actually bear more children than the average americans. why the hell do they do that? they don't have enough income to feed the whole family, and yet they have like 5 or 6 children to feed and still hope for the amnesty. what if it doesn't come out? boy are they in a pickle.

Don't take it personally. There is no message about laws to be had.

Government is simply being flexible. Can't find enough workers or voters? Import them.

Check old quotes from decades or centuries' old newspapers. Americans have be complaining about immigrants since the Pilgrims.

Democracy is designed to be flexible, we have gay marriage, and relaxed drug laws. So much freedom, so little responsibility.

Given that, what is wrong with allowing millions of hard working people a chance to build new lives just like our ancestors?

Or are you afraid they are going to take your fruit picking, dish-washing or other menial job from you? You own a computer and know how to use it. They don't. Get a better job!

Don't worry. They will become American enough to hate the next wave of immigrants sooner than you think!

It shows that a politician will crumble to keep his office. The laws, like many we have elsewhere, are not enforced now! Just like when they adopted the Brady Bill. There were already laws on the books to handle the problem, they just did not enforce the laws. Same with immigration, they are here illegally! Why would you want to reward them by letting them stay. That would be a slap in the face of Legal Immigrants who have come here by the rules and did as they were required by law to do to remain in the States and become Citizens!!!!!!!

I believe that most people can see that it will be almost logistically impossible to remove that many people. So, why not have some kind of amnesty for the people here now but just strong arm the people trying to cross in the future? Put a stop to future illegal immigration.

If amnesty is awarded, our borders will continue to be flooded with illegals wanting to come across. The message is, "come on over and be an illegal, eventually we'll take you in". It also tells American citizens that your gov't will give amnesty to illegals, but not to it's own people. Sad sad sad. :(

They've already made it clear to us that our Law's SUCK. Basically , I feel, as a American, let down. Our government is doing NOTHING to insure our safety and quality of life. Isn't that part of what they are supposed to be doing???? They can't protect us in our own country, yet they can send OUR troops overseas to keep other people safe??? the incontrovertible fact that Amnesty is being thought over by employing liberals and the present administration, is purely too huge for them to even act on. First, there may be the purposes for the illegals to earnings their citizenship, then getting their history tests, pictures and inoculations, fines they might might desire to pay, and on and on. Illegals does no longer even evaluate dealing with all of this. individuals does no longer settle for letting illegals that have committed fraud with taxes, identifications, and such, get off the hook. we does no longer be allowed that luxurious by employing the Feds. There might constantly be illegals in this u . s . a . and till we totally look after the borders, by employing tension if mandatory, it won't supply up.

I believe this just reinforces the fact that laws are for the middle class keeps us in line and paying for everyone else.
Thank you for breaking the law would you like fries, education, my home , and healthcare with that. you brave, brave person to walk 2 miles to receive a free ride on the US taxpayers dime. Hey, while we are at it lets just close our prisons release the inmates and transfer all the hard working peoples assets to the law breaking citizens. Its just so unfair to expect the poor and extremely rich to follow laws LOL. Lets just point and laugh at all the good people who spent 1000s to immigrated legally.
