i dont kno if u talk in ur head...like u look at something and automatically a comment pops in ur head? if u do, keep a little notebook with you and write them down...also things u find funny that uve seen on tv, in newspapers, books, etc write them down. u can go back and review and edit them later. and even if ur not sure u can use it in a joke, write it down anyway. u might change ur mind later.

It all depends on who you're writing them for. For example, a simple joke involving the word "goobershmergle" would most likely prove to be hilarious to a 6 yr old right? Try building around a common intrest or sometin.

I personally like stories like Cosby used to do and Chris Rock does IM not into the swearing most of the time it takes away form the story or joke.

Depends what kind of joke.

stand up......has a few.

writing a list of things what you like about them and what you hate about them...

then you turn that into joke.

or go for shock value....
or surpise..

remember most jokes are funny because they exagerate some held truth......
