It's coming. I believe it is. All the bad hurricanes, flooding, global warming, ozone layer disappearing(well that's actually getting better I hear), earhquakes, the tsumani, the bird flu, our natural resources vanishing. What do you think of all this? Are you scared? how will we prepare? How do we know for certain when it's reallly coming? Facts? Opinions?

The end is near my friend. Jesus is coming back. I am not scared. I look forward going home with my Lord. Jesus promised me a home in Heaven, the day He saved my soul. Nobody knows when He is coming.

I have been hearing for over 30 years that the end of the world is coming citing all of the natural and man made disasters. I am not afraid. The end of the world will get here, when it's here. I don't think there will be any worldly prediction. It is God's will and the only way to prepare is to take God Jesus as your saviour. Live everyday as if it were your last love your neighbor as your self. Best blessings and comfort.

No. The world has been through it many times before and humans have endured it too.

Don't take a little local difficulty and make it a planetary disaster.

Just because America is having it a little hard don't panic! The rest of the world is doing OK.

Yes there was a bad tsunami but they are expected to happen every so often.

You missed a couple more disasters on your list.

West Ham not winning the cup final in May despite scoring 3 times (I have to take my hat of to Gerard for winning it for Liverpool though), and then England going out on penalties again in the World Cup.

Apart from that - why be scared?

The end of the world is always coming and has been since the beginning of time. Its linear. Its not getting further away.

I do believe the end of the world is coming, and yes, it does scare me, a bit.

But even if we are wrong, we do know it will come sooner or later. Even science recognizes that the earth cannot last forever. (Entropy?)

We also know that we will all die.

I can't say I'm not a bit frightened, but I know that "even though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, He is with me". Knowing this helps me to face whatever is coming with serenity and grace.

The end is near? no.. Due to human choices we make and how we control this world is why the world is the way it is. Its ignorant to say its due to a "superpower" while you sit back and use fossolfuel to get to work ruining the atmosphere and then bitching about it. The way we use the planet while antartica melts and polar bears and animals die. We put the blame elsewhere.

Things aren't really any worse then they've ever been. People are just being more vocal at the present time about such things. I don't think that the world will end anytime in our life time.

The Planet itself will not end, what will end is the type of World we live in and yes I do believe Jesus is coming back soon so no need to fear.

Matthew 3:2: "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

The message is getting a little stale by now.

The faster it comes to an end, the faster I can be happy. If your living a good and clean life, you should not fear death. It's what's going to happen while we are alive that we have to face full frontal each day.
