I have paid and settled accounts check by phone and needs to write letters to the collection agencies to have?

Need letter to let the collection agencies to upate paid as agreed to credit bureas.

Did you not have a written agreement with the collection agencies before you agreed to pay?

Did you send them a debt validation letter to make sure they did not inflate the amount?

Trying to get a collection agency to show paid as agrees or delete totally after the fact is very hard most of the time.

Also, since you did a check by phone, keep an extremely close eye on your checking account.

In fact, if I were you, I would make sure that I had enough money in the account to cover any checks written. Then go and speak with the bank and have them only allow payment to the outstanding checks - for the amount they are made out. Nothing else!!

Then I would have a standing order to close that account after the last check hits.
