i want to make it different from all other anniversairies. idea please pretty much within reason and limited money and no going away its going to be at/around her house which it in a semi rural area and a couples miles to big lakes and the city

Why not do something small, like 8 roses (one for every month). Save the big stuff for your one year anniversary!

Do everything in 8's, -- eight roses, eight candies, eight pennies for 8 wishes (to be thrown in a fountain lake, etc...). 1. rent a chick-flick movie, 2. write a poem (doesn't have to be long), 3. pick her up or let her come to your house - have rose petals (or paper hearts) leading to the bathroom with a nice warm bubble bath. The bathroom lit be 8 candles. a bottle of champagne (or coke) strawberries (8 of them) , the chocolates, some music. Need more????

Do you love her ..? And if you do make sure she knows it and then maybes you could take her on a surprise picnic in front of a lake at night ..by the moonlight ..make sure you have plenty of candles..best of luck

take her somewhere for a romantic picnic. Do it at sunset and have cool food like pasta and chicken salad and watermellon cut up or some fruit salad. Feed her and or if that is to wierd for you then skip that.

8 MONTHS!?!?!? You are kidding right? Wait until it has been at LEAST 12 months, what is 8 months? You aren't married, why put youself into debt right away, you should wait until you purchase the WEDDING RING, THEN worry about anniversaries!

A picnic is nice and romantic. If you have a good picture of the two of you together, frame that and give it to her as a gift.

Anniversaries are for Marriage! Why the HELL would you want to waste $$$ every month on a "GF"? A once in awhile gift is all good, but........

You could get a dozen roses (or flowers of choice), and place them somewhere, like at a park or somewhere like that, or if you can't drive anywhere then somewhere in her neighborhood, then take her for a walk and just talk and talk, then come upon these flowers that seem to be "just there", but have a really nice card or a note expressing your thoughts and feelings, idk :-?
