You can lose weight this way but it'll be solely from waste and water and is, therefore, very temporary. If you're trying to get into a competition and only need to drop a couple of pounds then that can do it but you'll regain it within a few hours.
Also, taking laxatives etc. can, as one reader stated, cause imbalances in your body -- especially dehydration.
If you have a need to lose weight let me know how much, your age, current weight, eating habits, height, etc. and I'll try to suggest choices that might be good for you (including exercise and diet). Be certain to never begin either without consulting your physician.

Only if the weight is poop. If you continue that med you will end up dehydrated. Give it up. The only safe way to lose weight is to cut back or cut out junk food and second helpings. You also need to exercize. Exercize is best taken in the form of walking. Walk to any place you go within a mile. Rest if you are out of shape. Getting out of the car helps most people. Drink lots of water. Good luck.

You run the risk of dehydration. All you're losing is water weight. You'd be better off walking 30 minutes a day and eating less fatty foods.

That is not a way of losing weight. Eat 1200 calories a day,
be active, walk, climb stairs. Laxative are very dangerous, you will get a lazy colon and then you will need them all the time.
Aside from putting that crap into your body you can get depended on them. I have seen 2 people who took laxative like they were candy.
First the got very very thin, lost most their hair and what was left was really thin and dull looking , their skin turned blueisch, and in the end they passed away. It was very sad, but they did not want to listen to anyone. Drugstores refused to sell them laxative, but they got them anyway.

No, it's only good if you're plumbing is backed up. The only way to lose weight is by reducing your caloric intake and doing high intense workouts 5 times week.
Good luck, gluttony is easy.

If you're doing it without an order from your doctor, you're playing a very dangerous game.
The only safe way to loose weight is by limiting the amount of food that you're eating.

Popping pills never helps. If you want a quick weight loss it's not gonna happen. Loosing weight takes time and consistency. If you take those weight loss pills it will just catch up to you and you will gain that weight just as quick as you lost it.

Temporarily, but only because you will probably get dehydrated. Make sure you drink a lot of liquids. As soon as you're off this medication, the weight will come back (which is how you body is SUPPOSED to operate - without medication).

maybe, temporarily. but it's not healthy, if you want an easy way to lose weight, cut some, not all, sugars and fats out of your meals. you should, if you have a dog, go on long walks with your dog. it will make you and the puppy happy. or you can do yoga or pilates. it helps with flexibility and i think, lose weight. or you can just go out and party!! dancing is one of the best exercises everrr. ^_^v best of luck!
