Cat has brown and black mixed fur all over its head and body. Its coat is average thickness. It's an average sized catand every part of its body is averaged size. The feet and end of tail is white.

It's most likely a mix. Of what breeds I don't know because the brown and black you are suggesting sounds like tortoiseshell and alot of cats can have that.

To the person above me, a mutt is a mixed dog. A mixed cat is a Moggie. let's get it right next time.

A tortie, or calico is NOT a breed. It's a color!

Well it sounds like a calico or possibly a tabby-you didnt say if it was full blood or not........if this is like a riddle than that is my answer-if you need 2 know then look at his for-head-does he have "m" shape-if so its a tabby!You can go to http://www.cfainc.org to look at breed pictures and find good info on your breed good luck!

Vets usually describe non-pedigreed cats as 'domestic short hair' (DSH) if they have short hair, or 'domestic long hair' (DLH) if they have long hair. Some people talk about 'domestic medium hair' but there's no agreement on what a 'medium' hair is.

The color pattern sounds like brown tabby.

It sounds like a tortiseshell mix tortise shells have to be all black and brown to be a true tortiseshell I have a mixed one a a tortiseshell one. They are my favorites.
